MotM v Leicester

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Nov 18, 2017 4:58 pm

I don't know about you but the efforts of Sterling ,Delph and Walker caught my eye. Kev and Dave were excellent and I thought Kompany showed his class.

Fuck, they're all great!

I thought the defence in general played well in the circumstances (including Mangler). Walker and Delph were standouts though, and I think Walker just ahead of Delph for me. The more we push this falls claim of City's "shakey defence" down people's throats the better.

I went for Lord Raheem but could have easily gone for Saint Raheem also.

Me too, but I was quite impressed/relieved with Mangala's performance, and Vinny wasn't too shabby after his failure to get himself sent off.

Do we continue to call him F1? Is he not just F now, or Fern?

"Lord Raheem"? sorry, there's only one Lord and his name is Bendtner.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

I went for fernandinho.

But as I mentioned in another thread, I couldn't watch as closely as usual and judging by the votes for Delph, I'll be looking forward to watching it again.

Delph has been a veritable revelation this season. I don't know what Pep is feeding him on, but it's certainly having an effect.

Thank heavens he didn't leave in the summer.

Another great team performance and some more simply stunning football from us especially 2nd half . Its never about one city player this season as the whole squad are playing beyond anything I have seen before we are that good ! But as for todays MOtM , yepp Delph excellent again and Ginger Kev,s goal fucking wow but im voting for Sterling , some great passes , movement , touches and work rate not bad for a lad who for some unknown reason get total undeserved shit from certain sections of the media and public !!! He is top of the league that lad !

The Mangler made some cutting passes out of defence, he put a good shift in and was certainly worthy of the shirt. I gave him motm as a finger to all the twats who slandered him mercilously in the various ‘City’ forums in the build up to the game.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.
