We were described by an ex-pro as the best team in the world the other day. I never thought I'd hear those words used to describe us.

The kerb crawler Pleat said if we didn't make the CL Final it would be a disappointing season for us.

Rodney Marsh tweeted today that City are too good for this league.

Breathtakingly outstanding so far the best I have ever witnessed in my lifetime . Pep has worked his undeniable magic he looks a different animal this season , more relaxed and very confident his "machine" is firing on all cylinders . Of course the big picture will unfold after the Christmas fixture period and if we stay relatively injury free (picked a bad one up today) surely nothing can stop us winning a major trophy ? Brilliant brilliant season so far but a long long way to go !

I missed their game and subsequent comments due to a strategically timed dump..

We're so fuckin good that it's ruined watching any other football for me. All other sides weather club or international look ordinary and play sloppy football (by City standards) .

A third of the season gone and we're a bit good, aren't we?

Lurch isn't capable of reverse psychology. He struggles with straight forward psychology at the best of times.

The only way our players are being linked with a move away is if they are described as surplus to our needs. Even when they were at their very best, good players still left The Scouse and The Rags for Barcelona or Madrid. We are now linked with the very best players, wherever they are. Its scary how far we have come.
