Apparently we are close to signing a deal with Puma for £50m. Who else wears Puma kits?

i scored some cracking goals in my puma hat trick boots.

Then when i was older switched to adidas , never looked back.

It’s like in “The tin men” when Danny De Vito recognised that the VW beetle is the future.

What is it with these Germans ? quality everywhere .

I don't think I'll be alone in being concerned about the tight fit of their current shirts. Unless they do a baggier fit for fans

A quick look on the Arsenal website and all is good. £100 for an authentic one for those with the toned six pack. £55 for the rest of us

I won't be paying £100 for a shirt!

I'm sure it was reported as 12 at the time so may have gone up incrementally. Either way, it's a huge leap with regard to revenue and also says that we are set for the future.

Yes, it was reported as £12m back in 2012. Mirror also said £20m this May so either it has gone up incrementally (or has bonuses attached) or the media have pulled a figure out of the air and are then using one another's figure. Anyone's guess as to which.

£50m a year. Tidy. And not a sniff of false sponsorship.

Whether we will catch the rags in terms of turnover is probably unlikely given their fan base worldwide, but we are hopefully narrowing the gap whilst putting more distance between us and the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Dippers.

FFP? Stick it up your fucking backside, it now means fuck all to us
