No City player will win it, whatever they do and whatever we do

Three times. Why would you leave The Brown out? I don’t think any of the three named will get it but KDB could.

Three times??!

I left kdb out because he's not part of the young trinity that are brimming with potential. He's already being talked about breaking into that realm right now.

The other three seem to have divided opinion as to who would be the front runner in the years to come. Maybe 5 to 10 years time, who knows?

We're judging potential here dazby.

The remuneration must be a small comfort

Speaking of which I was a little surprised to see Sane is supposedly 'only' on £60k a week. A huge sum to most of us, but relatively small beer to a PL player, especially a full German International who was signed for a not inconsiderable fee. Hopefully we will get him on an improved longer term contract shortly, as today's gossip pages allude to

With the bonus system we have his wages is probably tripled or quadrupled when we're playing this well. I imagine that that post in our year end report next year will take quite a few people by surprise.

I went sane as well. His has quite similar attributes to Ronaldo from what I've seen. Decision making and bulking up might be all that's left for him to improve on. Time will tell.

Jesus has had comparisons to the original ronaldo...

Sterling is the dark horse because he really has an unusual style and I can't think of another top player he reminds me of... but the rate at which he's improving is savage.

Reminds me a little of Robben, owing mainly to how he scampers.

If he could add Robben's technique when it comes to long range shooting he'd be right up there with the very best.

That's actually a good shout.
Not sure if we'll ever see the long range shooting to that level though.

But he could well be better inside the box with his close control

He must have been reading this OD.

I voted Sane too OD.
Basically I can’t see Raheem being given any recognition at all from anyone other than us.

He got in the team of the group stages for the Champions League last season. It’s only in England he gets shit mate.

English media are too busy wanking over Harry Kane.
They're always the same, there has to be a media appointed hero, before Kane it was wiggy, before him beckscum.
God forbid Kane ever goes to the rags, their wet dream would then be complete.

I saw a tweet the other day that said England haven't had a winger with a good final ball since Beckscum. It was in response to something about Sterling. So I looked it up.

Beckscum 264 PL apps - 21,536 mins. 62 goals and just 21 assists.

Sterling 171 PL apps - 12, 333 mins. 40 goals and 38 assists.

Interesting that NT, I wonder why Transfermarkt has Beckscum's assists so low if that is the case.
