Not sure if we can risk him getting a booking though.

tough one for sure. but, imo, we looked pretty darn bad vs Soton with no width on the left. if Mendy was playing then you could definitely argue to leave Sane out but without Mendy and Sane being fit it's hard to leave him out.

that being said, if we looked as bad as i believe then we can't afford to not have Sane for the derby. WHU are shit and we should be able to win without any width on the left. Maybe put Bernardo there?

I hate Moyes more than anyone in football I want us to batter them nine nil would be great BUT will the ref be advised to make sure he books Fern and Sane. Maybe Pep could play them for half an hour then if we’re well ahead sub then
Don’t want them not there to play the scum looks like Moyes is gong to play a long ball game and kick the shit out of us.

if people want Sane and Fernandinho held out for the derby theres not really another option.

to Danilo in for Walker was to give him a rest but actually that should happen midweek

I think this game has the potential to be the biggest banana skin of the season so far. West Ham really have a free hit here as no one expects them to get anything but battered so they should just give it a go I know that's what I would do in their position.

I agree. Everyone expecting double figures but it's likely they will camp in and make it hard to break down. Our freescoring form has dropped off so an early breakthrough would be nice.

I am also in this camp. Mentioned in another thread we underestimated West Ham a couple of years ago after we won our first six and we got burnt. Harts replacement will have a point to prove and sooner or later the West Ham players are either gonna get lucky or actually turn in a good performance. On paper we humiliate them, on the field all the variables come into play and it's a different game. If we are on our game, we win. Whether we are starting to get a bit tired and have one eye on the upcoming fixtures and thus don't have full focus on the game in hand, we shall see.

Not underestimating WH at all. Fully expect to see a massive bus parking effort. The model is extreme damage limitation. Whether or not moyes has the coaching intelligence to pull it off is another thing.

I would swap walker and Danilo and drop Kompany and play Mangala.

Isn't kmops on 4 yellows also. Cannot afford to play Mangala against the rags next week

You'r job doesn't depend on the game. If they give us a game and get 6 or 7 put past them it could kill them and Moyes would be out by Christmas.
