Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Gundogan and Silva need a run of games and most likely won't get one. Mangala is unspeakably shite. The kids were decent and would love to see Diaz get into the odd match-day squad sooner rather than later.

Inconsistency is a problem for young players. I was encouraged by the fact when he got the ball it looked like something was happening. He's a nailed on superstar, just gotta take these sorts of nights on the chin.

If we had to lose a game, then this would be the one of course. Even though we were below par, I always felt we might get back in, but our finishing let us down, worryingly again!
On a positive note, Foden really does excite me, I just want to see more of him. Considering he was in an unfamiliar position he still stood out over the senior players. I'd give him ago before Bernardo, based on current form.
Diaz - Really does look a baller every time he plays. Again, would be great to see hm given more game time, the kid could be a massive help in unlocking defences, he's fearless.

I just hope our next defeat is accompanied by a more vigorous performance from the rest

Just hope that people don’t get on his back because he may be seen as inconsistent compared to how he started with us.
He’s a fantastic talent that clearly wants to impress every single time he’s on the pitch - too much sometimes (offside goals quite a lot). But I think people expect him to be perfect every match forgetting he is only young and still getting used to a new team and country.

bernardo is our new navas. maybe worse. navas could at least retain possession...

I must admt I've been disappointedly surprised by Bernardo. I hope it is just still bedding in and lack of game time but he definitely needs to improve and consistently show the trickery we bought him for.
