i think this will be our first loss of the season regardless of who plays alongside Otamendi (Vinny or Mangala)

Nothing like a bit of positivity to get us fired up for the match.

Stop the guy who speaks through his nose and you stop Spurs, they have some very good footballers but he’s very much the focal point.

Spurs will undoubtedly be our stiffest test. The look to press and play and it will be interesting to see how Pep sets up to handle their attacking threat when we lose the ball. But as already said they will come to play and it should give us a little more space attacking than usual. It's all about taking our chances and if we do get it right I can see us scoring 5.

Please stop quoting that absolute bell end phips. He hasn't a fucking clue and just wants to stir shit. Half the board have the cunt foed and still have the displeasure of reading his drivel.

Tap ins don't count.

I think they will be open and we'll piss all over them. In the summer in USA their fans were bemoaning that they couldn't compete with us at all. Now we are seeing why. Last season we should've won 5 or 6 but they somehow managed to score 2 goals with their only 2 shots.

What makes you think otherwise?

A fully fit and fired up Spurs team would be a massive test for us. They have quality all over the pitch.
IMO their position in the league is a false one i.e. due to the book Poch wrote (what a foolish thing to do) and the player contracts (what is Levy at?)

Imagine being a Spurs player.
Levy demands top $$$ when he sells you but will pay you only half (or less) the going rate in wages! - a la Walker
Then the manager betrays trust with the players by mouthing of in a book!

This is reflected in their results.

Because they are playing us, they may just put these grievances aside and play ball with 100% committment.
I hope they do because it should be a great game, a real test, will expose any defensive flaws and is great prep for CL matches.

sorry, i like to be realistic. we're down 2 CBs and we just played midweek and have been playing basically every 3 days.

it definitely helps that Alderweireld and Sanchez are out (the latter is still banned, right?) but I'm always wary of Harry Kane and Son.
plus, they did it to us last season too.

of course id be happy for us to smash them but i, personally, think they're the 2nd best club in the league and it's going to be very tough. prior to hitting the Swans for 4 we'd had three straight (i think) narrow 2-1 wins. lets not forget those last gasp Raheem goals that kept us unbeaten.

apologies to anyone who thinks having an opinion is a wind-up and/or me trolling. if you can't handle not wearing blue specs 24/7 thats your problem, not mine.

Pep says Vincent is ‘always injured’ suggesting he’s losing patience with him. He’s out for tomorrow and Pep says they’ll try for a CB next month but says market is complicated mid season. Stones ‘much better’ and should be back in 1-2 weeks.
