I dunno mate... some on here are fine once he's fine, they don't need to know how long he's gonna be out for or what's up with him.

Although, I'd say after a year or so, some of these lads would give, so it's definitely time based

He has said he’d be back at the soonest and as early as the next weekend but Pep and the club hierarchy (incl. Khaldoon) have old him to take as long as he needs and no need to rush back, so it’s really when he feels ok mentally to come back he will, he might rush back thinking the routine of playing week in week out would help but I guess his performances when back would be telling on how much of him is back (for lack of better words) I guess.

BTW anyone notice how the club who generally never even comment on rumours of transfers or contract extensions are actively releasing news to media nationally on almost daily basis when no contracts have been signed or extended but yesterday it was all over the back pages about Pep’s extension and tonight Sky is out with breaking news right after the Monday Night Football about Kev’s contract extension ... and yes it’s all over the back pages tomorrow as well ...

It's none of our business mate.

If someone mentions David silva, just act like you never heard of him. We're all gonna do the same.

You obviously know more than you are prepared to divulge on here with your cryptic post Fair play.

From your post though, I have concluded he at least doesn't have Leukaemia,(huge sigh of relief) or has suffered some sort of severe head trauma from a botched hair transplant, if this was the case he wouldn't consider coming back to play as soon as next weekend. That’s all fans really wanted to know, if he was seriously ill or not. End of story for me, and I think virtually every other City fan.He is one of our own City family, fans care.

No one wants his personal life on show to the World, and respect his right to a private family life.

What ever has happened i think i speak for all of us when i say he is in our thoughts at what is obviously a sad time for him. :(

Confirmation classes now?

anyway I just noticed this posted on the other place by it's owner:

"If it helps allay any fears, then I can say stuff posted on social media regarding Silva’s health is categorically untrue."

I already wrote previously he himself is fine and nothing wrong with him healthwise ... let's just wait and see when he is able to come back, and leave him along till then.

When I first saw his haircut in the summer I thought he had done it for some altruistic reason.
He is an intelligent 31 year old man who doesn't go in for styles and fashions as far as I can tell. (Does he have a tattoo?)

I thought this situation could be similar to the Jermaine Defoe/Bradley one?

Not sure the confusion with his hair as it's clear to me he had a hairline brought forward ie. Transparent?

On topic, hope gets through ok and is back firing on all cylinders soon.
