It's no one else's business when our player might be back?

First time I've ever heard that, although I'm only following football 30 odd years.

Harry arter had a still born baby ffs. Life is tragic and I wish him the very best, but saying it's not our business when he's likely to return is fucking weird.

This !!

Of course its our fuckign business....if the club said its a very serious issue then fair enough...but they haven't have they!

That’s the issue for me also. The club haven’t said anything so people are just assuming the worst for the sake of it. He might just be sat at home absolutely gutted he’s bald as fuck now. Who knows?

But it's not just the club who are saying nothing, there appears to be a media blackout, not just that but one that is, very unusually is being adhered to at all levels. Virtually unheard of in the modern era where there is always some attention seeking CUNT prepared to break the trust/silence for 30 pieces of gold.

As much as I want him back and if honest I am intrigued to know as most, I am prepared for Merlin to find the right time to return and respect his privacy in the meantime.

The "but we pay his wages" bunch can fuck right off, we DO NOT OWN him and hope to Christ when something goes wrong in your lives that you lot are extended the same courtesy.

Modern society fucking sucks when someone's privacy cannot respected, regardless of whom they fucking are!

Fuck off saying its not PC (I hate PC), common decency respecting someone's wishes, which in this case is clearly Merlin's!!

Merlin is just another human being whom just so happens to be extremely gifted at football, which fortunately has been with us for the best part of 8 years.

God forbid any of you not offered the privacy you will seek at some stage in your life's. I've had two such occasions in my life so far where I needed such space which I am eternally Grateful for.

Had this happened 20 years ago, those old enough to be adults then would not be demanding answers, how society has fucking changed!!!

As you were......

I don't want to know about his fucking personal details, I want to have an idea when he might be back.

As for society changing, well, not being informed on expected time out is the change. Not the fact that fans are asking ffs.

So if the club put out a one line statement "David Silva will return to the club on X date later than we all would like, you'd accept that?

What if the club, nor merlin for that matter DON'T KNOW themselves, which is clearly the case on this occasion.

Am I happy we are missing him? no not all, but mocking other posters for saying Merlin has the right to privacy is utter bollox OD, I respect you for fighting your corner and I respect your opinion normally, but on this occasion I think you've got it wrong.

We need him back when is HE is ready whether that is mentally, physically or both.

KDB hopefully from what has been said is one/two games out (watford and Burnley).

Gabriel is a bigger loss undoubtedly in terms of longevity, but more importantly Pep needs to get in Sergio's head and find out why he's not at his best.

Absolute tripe if you go to ur employers and say you have family issues and it is a private thing and they don't want anyone to know the issue, then the employer has to abide by this, you can safely bet this is a serious issue with merlin and his family.

It's not whether I accept it or not mate.

And I didn't mock those who respect his privacy, I mocked those who chastised those of us who would like to know how long we might expect him to be out.

Listen, I've just never seen it before in the footballing world and I've heard some tragic stuff... so the silence turns this into a bigger topic.

I was pretending before because I honestly thought it ridiculous, but lock the thread if it really is like this.

The weirdest part for me is coming back playing one game and going again. If had been away since Spurs game would have made more sense to me but something improved to allow him back for a couple days and gone again.

I think all the secrecy is only fuelling the rumours and speculation. tbh.

If he returns back to the Club with a shiny thick black weave starting to sprout from his bald Head, supporters will speculate this was the reason he went missing to start with.

Intriguingly as I was told, if you enter “Belgravia Clinic” and “David Silva” in to a Google images search you will see a few recent images taken of David Silva, that experts over at the Belgravia Hair clinic say shows evidence of a recent hair transplant.

If this really is the reason for his absence I don’t understand all the secrecy tbh, He could be a roll model for those poor men who have an “Egg in a Nest”. It is nothing to be ashamed of.

It is only a rumour,so please dont shoot the messenger. it could all be bollocks.

That’s not something that should disrupt a professional footballers season.

That was my first thought. It still makes no sense to have treatment during a season, and it to remain secret, I was inclined to dismiss it out right as bollocks ,it still very well could be,. Although as the Missus said to me, some Men find hair loss a very sensitive issue, and get embarrassed about owning up to having a hair transplant.

I reminded her that Rooney appeared not to give a fuck about having a hair transplant and happily played with what looked like a Rat super Glued to his Head.

I hope it isn’t true after KDB has been playing ill for a couple of weeks with flu like symptoms and has lost over half a stone for the cause ;)

With all due respect Mase that is utter bullshit, it has fuck all to do with 50k paying to watch you every week. The man is a human being first and foremost.

With reference to "in your job" this happened to me very recently where I have spoken to my CEO and Operations director about my own health and asked them to treat in strictest confidence as I didn't want others I work with until my diagnosis is confirmed.

The extent of the confidence they have afforded me I found out at our Xmas do when talking to our chairman who enquird about my health (knowing I had been off sick, which is unlike me normally) and i assumed the CEO had told but hadn't.

When Merlin realised he was a great player or discovered do you think he thought you know what I want to be in public eye or do I just want to play the game I love to the best level I can?

He has to be one of the lowest key players at his level off the pitch ever he hasn't gone out their riding the fame tranaldo, beckscum, Mendy (dare i say) etc.

He is first and foremost a human being and if you can't see that...

Yes we all want him back asap but on the right terms and if that means he's owns terms so be it!

The club WHO DO PAY HIS WAGES, seem to have accepted it, presumably based on the FACTS told to them in confidence. So it is beyond me that the fans think better? Frustration I get but it is time for some real life perspective IMO

Seriously people? Hair transplant??

That’s why players were wishing him well at/before/after the spurs game and KdB dedicating his goal to no. 21 ...

Get a grip ... and yes lock this thread ... he’ll be back later this week ... too soon for Watford and probably not going to play in the next two FA cup and League cup games ... he had offered earlier as well and came back on his own but apparently Pep sent him back home and told him he’d be rotating over these next few games and he’s not going to play.

Anyone dying to know send pm to friends who have links to the club or family members/friends working there ... just don’t put it up on forums as requested by the club and him.

I can tell from your post, that you are extremely upset by the speculation, yet I have no idea why ?. The facts are he has had a hair transplant at some stage recently. The images are on Google images for all to see. Belgravia Hair Clinic seems to think he has had one as well. Only logical people will then speculate and rumours of rumours will start to begin.

If as you are saying this is not the reason he is missing. As you seem to keep alluding to knowing the real reasons. Yet are still very upset. I should imagine Silva is laughing his bollocks off in Valencia some where. Should you not be laughing too ?

I don’t understand why you are so upset about us gossiping on an internet forum about our important star player, about what you are telling us is a load of bollocks any way.

No one is being hurt.

Everyone is making it perfectly clear these are alleged rumours.
