Did he get to the stage in a golf buggy and ask if Jose was around to park it for him.

He's living the dream! Always a big beaming smile on his face in the photos of him with Pep and the City squad. So pleased for him, and now to get this award. Well done lad!

He has a lot to smile about JL and fair play to him, to be on the bench at 17 with our current squad is no mean feet.

Always looks comfortable when he comes on, hungry for a bit of the action and players around him not scared to pass to him either.

Let's hope this is just the beginning for him eh?

The family have moved up market to Bramhall now but he still goes fishing at Sykes Reservoirs in Edgeley with his dad and brothers,

Poor lad is out for a month with a ligament injury, just when he's had the best year of his life.

Hope he makes a speedy recovery!

When I first heard the news I thought it’s a season ending injury so one month is not that bad... but a shame nonetheless as I’m certain he would’ve started at least against Bristol..

Here’s to speedy recovery get well soon Phil!

Bummer for the lad as he undoubtably would have had some game time in that time.

I was wondering last night why he wasn't on the bench(or Diaz) because this was a good game for them to get 30-35 minutes in.

It's a good point 4 up in quite a few games and no kids on the bench to bring on for ten mins

On the other hand, don't we need to give people like Gundogan and Bernardo as many minutes as possible. In case we need them to win the Champions league or something?

Maybe we don't.

It should be a policy to have at least one kid on the bench for each game against the weaker teams. If Gundogan and Bernardo need game time, start them.
