The greatest team ever scoring a swag of goals in the last minutes of games and people go home early. Wankers.
There may be some irony in this post but it’s 2017. It’s probably fake news.
Ironic fake not really here news ?
Blues fans who actually go to games are wankers ? Controversial indeed !
You're a good guy 64, why are you taking such a stance when the issue is not that foreign fans can't make it every week, but that thousands of fans who do go walk out on the best footballing team on the planet?
There has to be a solution, but it should be debated instead of just attacking those who raise it.
Is it that sensitive a subject?
I haven't once "attacked" anyone who has "raised" the issue of early leavers on here OD . I am however shaking my head in disbelief at a few sad comments and personal attacks at hardcore blues and quality posters over the "issue" brought by yourself ???? Now then a lot of elderly folk leave "early " to avoid the rush and bumping and barging so do some with disabilities etc ............... why not look at the big picture before spouting off "its fucking embarrassing" ??? . The Emirates "empties" far quicker than the Etihad and so does the Swamp these days !!! Turning on our own fans is an absolute disgrace and to be honest has hit a nerve with me and IF I was going to "attack" a poster I would go straight for the jugular NOT fanny around with banter as I am sure you are well aware pal ? JC is a good guy and makes a very positive contribution to this board , I think in all honesty you owe him an apology . To finish , the club have dealt well with the ridiculous ques before kick off earlier this season now they need to deal with certain carp park issues BUT with safety issues , road closers at full time all around the stadium and sheer volume of people it is a real difficult one for sure !
Embarrassing.
You shouldn't leave early , end of.
And wtf has JC being a good guy got to do with it !!? He's a top poster and well liked on here , but hes wrong to leave early IMO..not in your opinion or a few others opinion but IMO.
I like having an opinion.
Me too. Mine is that the unfortunate early exodus is best perceived as an image vs reality problem. My argument goes that the reality of being a City supporter at the ground confers priority of my interests when contrasted with those of the owners of the image projected via the media to their various markets, including absent City supporters.
Regrettably, that image has now become the reality for top sport, media value is the financial bedrock of the enterprise and its cold manipulation results in the dilemmas expressed on here. Sorry, call me old-fashioned but I'm not sacrificing my direct enjoyment of the game in the cause of brand improvement for extra profit.
My preference is obviously to stay to the final whistle but by doing so I endure the consequences of being unnecessarily trapped in a lengthy traffic jam. So more often than not I opt for a more comfortable conclusion to the matchday experience, it is after all my experience.
The road infrastructure issues that led to current the post-match transport problems originated in the club's failure to buy the Asda site when planning the CFA. Sadly, it is very difficult to see what can be done to improve the situation now.
