I'm particularly keen for us to maintain our unbeaten run for the next two games so that we have completed a half season (Bournemouth) and played every team (Newcastle) without losing. Come on City!

i want this to go on until the scouse game, it will put so much pressure on them at home and they will have to attack us, leaving them open with their wobbly defense.

The world is waiting for us to slip up, surely it won't be today?

December is notoriously a month of surprise results, and I'm thinking Palace may be the trickiest out of our next three. Would be good to see Melin back and Aguero and Gabby amongst the goals today. A nice comfortable 4-0 without any incidents would be nice Santa.

Watched the Arse v Dippers game in Notts last night at xmas party, had plent of fun singing 'park the bus' to the rags within the vicinity. Thoroughly enjoyable way to kick of the xmas football. Had no sleep and on way back to Manc for the game and then down to the smoke for Xmas, love this time of year!

BTW - Can anybody get hold of at least one ticket for the Palace game at Selhurst, or will I need to get my pants pulled down on one of the legalised ticket touting sites?

With all the 4-0's to 11-0's in the predictions thread (me included) and everyone, just everyone, expecting us to win comfortably, I can see this instead as possibly turning out as a frustrating 1-1 as I think we will have our first loss in unexpected circumstances due to complacency. :(

I doubt there will be any complacency JL, not with Pep "encouraging" them from his technical area.....

Will they park the biggest bus we've seen yet or put out the shitest team they can and just take it up the arse? I reckon the latter in the hope they can get something against hammers on Tuesday, by resting what is left of their best players.

If they do just roll over it will be a bit if hollow victory (excepting the continued run and 3 points of course), it'll feel like waking up having just had drunken sex with an ex, just because it was an easy lay.

I was supposed to be there today but plans for changed, gutted!!

Hmm... interesting combination of keck, neck and even part of my kecks.

Actually, I'm just about to start on some Westons vintage cider with my salad ahead of the beer and crisps and nuts and curry so your imperative may come true.

Yay! Big Dave back, we're going to slaughter them - hopefully - no offence to Bournemouth as I like them (not least their colours).

What do you reckon to the strength of the Bournemouth team? I know they have injuries to key players and important relegation battle games coming up but I recognise few of these characters. (Ex-Chelsea loanee Ake can be a dirty bastard though.)

I actually rate Harry Arter from watching Ireland but not much else from what I can see.

Pisses me off that Kompany is captain straight away. Keep Silva as captain. It’s only going back to Silva when Kompany goes off injured.
