About 83% of one ??

Not including the £40+ million to the agent.

We've never spent 75mil on a striker.... then again, neither has Maureen.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

You're absolutely right chum.

It's quite frightening how the inflationary cost of donkeys and carthorses is spiralling upwards.

And wasn't it pretty much the same story at Real Madrid? Eventually fell out with every one, players, directors and fans. Starts by deflecting attention away from him and his playing staff, then starts to turn on fringe players and finally on one or two in the dressing room that actually alienates him from the whole squad.

There is no way he has the patience, the skill or the knowledge to rebuild a team the way Ferguson did or Pep is doing. He should find himself a national team.

It was indeed. Classless, he was viewed as. Wholly unsuited to a posh club like Madrid

Let them keep their heads in the sand for as loooooong as possible. Blame the money. The alternative is them looking for and acting on an actual solution.

If he's that worried NB, he could always drop Lukaku into his back line and let Rashford-Messi take over the main, central striking responsibities.

He'd then have a defender whose cost rivalled that of VVD and exceeded those of the City players he's been so scathing about.

He keeps droppimg Lukaku into defense and the idiot gives goals away.

Anway we have a better defender in Ederson, magic this kid.

Did you say that Maureen has thrown his expensive players under the bus?

I don't think to many are buying his BS anymore. I am surprised at the amount of flack he is getting, for ex, ESPN, and even MOTD called him out (sort of) yesterday.

Watching that press conference and when he dropped that line I couldn’t believe a journo had the nerve to say “but you’ve spent 300 million”

Thinking about it again, I wouldn't be surprised if his target with this BS is not the media or fans, but the rag board, to get more money to spend either in January or the summer.

I hope you guys are spot on with your assessments of Mourinho and even the possibility of him becoming a little unhinged.

As has been mentioned elsewhere, if the 'Family Man' is somehow in the running to take over the helm of the Salford Titanic, that would be the best, belated, Christmas present of all time.

The possibility of the Scum completely falling apart, is a salivating prospect.

What a lot of these morons don't seem to be grasping is that there's actually not been that much change to our first team from last year.

We brought in the following:

Danilo
Mendy
B. Silva
Walker
Ederson

Danilo and B. Silva have been back up players who we have used very sparingly so far, especially in the Premier League, and Mendy was ruled out for the rest of the season very early on.

That just leaves Ederson and Walker. Now don't get me wrong, they have been fantastic additions to the first team but the way Mourinho and others are talking is that we spent hundreds and hundreds of millions on all these new players in the summer who have revolutionised our team. That is not quite the case. The improvement has come from Pep and mostly the existing players themselves.

When you spend money and don't achieve anything all is well in the world, but as soon as you spend money and win, there's a big issue.

Can't wait until we have our best 11 starting and next best on the bench champing at the bit to get minutes.

Hopefully it will be the home Derby and total domination and annihilation

Mo looks up - sees us - gets angry
Mo looks down - sees Dippers getting stronger (deal in place for that mid and VVD). Chelsea are strong with a huge budget. Spurs strong if they keep their players - gets worried.
Mo looks at his team and setup - despair.

Us, Chelsea and Dippers will be better than his team. Maybe Spurs as well.

He needs to start again. Lu is not good enough, Matic is on the wane, defence is not good enough, no creative midfielder (hope he buys Ozil - who will go AWOL) and Pogba is no Roy Keane.
Unless he can improve players a la Pep he needs another fortune to complete.
Or put another way he is fcuked.
