He really is a sad pathetic bastard isn’t he ?. He is everything that is wrong with football. A peek over on Rag Café shows many of the Rags fans are just as bitter, and deluded beyond belief as he is.

Bemoaning the fact he has only spent a measly £300 million to park the Bus at the Swamp. Reading between the lines, I think it is evident this bitter t**t is already engineering an exit from the Swamp at the end of this season..

They can’t compete with the “Oil Money” (don’t you know). No point mentioning, that we have been self sufficient for the past 3 seasons and are well and truly on an upward financial trajectory, with our attractive brand of football, that sponsors want to be associated with. Their forum must have 17 City threads; their obsession with us has reached “Fatal Attraction” Bunny boiling levels of obsession.

I wouldn’t mind if they posted relevant facts, to support the nasty malicious poisonous comments. They simply write all sorts of libellous shit about us to deviate from criticism of their Clown/Cheque Book manager. A couple of City fans on there try and educate, its like they all collectively put their fingers in their Ears, and start screaming La.la,la.

How can you bemoan our spending (which contrary to RAG belief) is actually no different to theirs ?. Only difference being we spent our money much better. Then start moaning they are not spending enough money YCMIU. We have not made one signing in the top 10 transfer records. Rags have made 2 in the top 10, The Belgian Bony, and Pogba both £100,000 000 a piece. Obviously it is our fault they had to spunk £200,000 000 on 2 average players.

Truth is Rags have become a fucking Dinosaur; their football belongs in a Museum. their manager belongs in a straight jacket. His tiresome deflecting attention towards City "every game", pathetically trying to mitigate his glaringly obvious inadequacies as a top flight football manager.

We have a manager that came in and made the sum bigger that its parts. He turned players like Delph in to a quality squad players, talebts like Sterling/KDB/Silva he has taken to the next level. In fact the entire squad he has playing good attractive possession based football. Name one thing Maureen has improved about the Rags ? (minus their ability to cry/blame much more)Our star player KDB was rejected by the Special One. Says more about Maureen than KDB.

Rags need to wake up, smell the Coffee, time to take a reality check. Money is no longer the common denominator in any player signing for us. That was 5 years ago. Today players sign for us to play for one of the best managers in the World. And a Club genuinely going places, both commercially, and football wise. We are a more attractive proposition, fact, get used to it.

Rags are morphing in to Liverpool; they still think they have all the pulling power. That players will want to sign for them for what they once were, rather than what they are now. It is this thinking that left Liverpool in the wilderness for over 2 decades. City shirts are becoming one of the biggest sellers globally;admittedly we are not quite at the top of the pile yet. All the evidence points to it happening soon. Just take a look around the UK you will see City shirts on kids in London/Birmingham etc. They want to play football like City. Once we win a Champions League there will be no looking back.

Instead of constantly obsessing about us .Rags could do their self a real favour and aspire to be like us. Accept they are no longer biggest Dog in the yard, a good as a proposition as they once were, their football sucks, their manager sucks even worse. Concentrate on putting their own House in Order, and their manager short comings. Otherwise your 20 years in the wilderness as the new Liverpool is all but assured.

Right now Rags biggest challenge is trying to finish top 4.They should concentrate on that rather than City Tail lights they have no chane of catching, fading in the distance.

Remind me again who is the bitter, noisy neighbour ?

OP pretty much said it all.

I find the general outrage about how much we paid for full backs to be ludicrous. It is okay to pay that for strikers but not defenders or keepers - as if the strikers could do anything without the rest of the team. Yes, genuine goal-scorers are a rare commodity and can win a few games on their own, but as Pep has shown, the whole team can be an attacking unit, and make chances that even a merely good player could tap in. Who has had a bigger impact this season, Ederson and Walker or Pogpoo and Lulu?

I think they will have a player revolt on their hands soon, a bit like what happened at Chelsea.

He is a nasty divisive character. Already hanging his players out to dry publicly. Will back fire on him. Personally I think he wants out to PSG.And is going for a Death by Cop type sacking. Keep embarrassing until he is sacked with a pay off.

He reminds me of the Herbert Lom character in The Pink Panther. Clouseau's boss gradually driven completely bonkers by his arch Nemesis

Great OP Zabba. The similarities to this season and his last with Chelsea are getting closer each week

Wonder whether he'll go off on one about the price the dippers are paying for VVD. A Lukaku for a centre half

I hope you guys are spot on with your assessments of Mourinho and even the possibility of him becoming a little unhinged.

As has been mentioned elsewhere, if the 'Family Man' is somehow in the running to take over the helm of the Salford Titanic, that would be the best, belated, Christmas present of all time.

The possibility of the Scum completely falling apart, is a salivating prospect.

As I remember United paid 30 million on Ferdinand in 2002 and another 30 million on Shaw in 2014. Defenders more expensive than strikers surely not.

If he's that worried NB, he could always drop Lukaku into his back line and let Rashford-Messi take over the main, central striking responsibities.

He'd then have a defender whose cost rivalled that of VVD and exceeded those of the City players he's been so scathing about.

Not in my wildest dreams could I see the family man being given the rag managers job. It would be the funniest thing for a long time but even the Glazers aren't that stupid

And wasn't it pretty much the same story at Real Madrid? Eventually fell out with every one, players, directors and fans. Starts by deflecting attention away from him and his playing staff, then starts to turn on fringe players and finally on one or two in the dressing room that actually alienates him from the whole squad.

There is no way he has the patience, the skill or the knowledge to rebuild a team the way Ferguson did or Pep is doing. He should find himself a national team.

I'd suggest any one from a list of Gibraltar, Malta, San Marino, Andorra, Liechtenstein or even Luxembourg.

They'd be about the level he could merit.
