got a bad feeling about this one...
palace always do well against the big clubs when no expects anything from them.
also... the guardiola song. it's there's really isn't it?
finally... i'm going (with justified logic) which is a guarantee that we'll fuck things up.

Well, I've been three times before and three wins, including Iheanacho's first PL goal and Yaya's return last season.
No guarantees, mind.

Palace in a tough home game tonight v the gooners . We have a days extra rest than them come sunday , word is John Stones has trained today and will be ready for the weekend hopefully David Silva will be back and flying after a few days in Spain . All good for us apart from our away support getting royally fucked over with the pathetic moving of the fixture time and date .

Games just get trickier and trickier as the pressure grows to win again and again. Add there are so many fixtures back to back it becomes inevitable that we have a mixture of giving players a break and trying to get through games without 100% intensity.
I genuinely believe City are not all focussed on stat records but they are there and the media et al mention them at every opportunity so some of it seeps in for sure. Palace at home will seriously be up for it and they have perfect players for breaking and a good target man to hold the ball up.
Won't be easy at all but as ever, if we are properly up for it ,we will win.

Was it you that had bad feelings about Toon also ? If so, keep it up .
Every time somebody posts bad feelings we win.
I'll join you on this , I feel bad about it too, just like I did about the derby , and Swansea and Bournemouth . . .

It was me actually, but it turned out to be only a rather uncomfortable newspaper that had secreted itself amongst the sofa cushions.

We will beat Palace and Watford, breaking Pep's Bayern record in the process, and lose at Anfield as usual. This will prompt a fortnight of Klopp mania and 'next year is their year' until they lose and the media realise we have started a new long winning sequence.
You heard it here first.

I'd happily give up the record if it meant we won at Anfield. It's the only ground post takeover we haven't won at. It's time.

Really hope it happens next month, it would be a terrific boost - our wastefulness in front of goal needs addressing quickly

Need to press Zaha and Townsend back so they have to defend. Walker has the pace to cope with Zaha. I just hope Delph is back on the other flank. We are better than them but this will be a tough match. Palace are playing better, they’re desperate for the points and it’s a small stadium which can provide the home team with a lot of atmosphere. We get an extra days recovery time which will help though!

I've become utterly and completely enthused by your enbending advocacy JC.
I'm concerned it might even be on the scale of Paul the Apostle on the road to Damascus. I just can't wait for him to sign and watch the consequent and prolific goal torrent sweep all opposition teams away - a veritable City tsunami.
Does this mean, however, I'll be hoping Pep pays whatever silly price Whinger asks for him in January ??
