I usually treat my body like a temple. Last night I treated mine like a whorehouse above a liquor store next to a motherfucking Taco Bell.

Hope Hodgson reads their forum and takes the advice of resting their best players for the Southampton game. Interesting Zaha is on 4 yellows and thus one away from a suspension. Wouldn't be surprised if he didn't feature

Yep. Would be stupid of Roy to risk him. For us, Fernandinho and Kompany are on 4, too, so both could/should be rested (although I guess Kompany will be a no-show anyway).

I thought the cut off point for yellows had already passed? Just checked none of our players plus Zaha would get a ban for a yellow as we have played 20 games.

Yes doesn’t the slate get wiped clean in the 2nd half of the season?

I initially thought it was that, but I read elsewhere that it's 1st Jan. The article I read may have been from a year when the New Year's Day fixtures were the 20th fixtures, though.
Making it the matchday halfway point would make more sense than the changeover of the calendar year, admittedly (unless League Cup games are also factored in, which I think they might be).

A 5th yellow card on or after the 20th league game earns no ban.

http://www.ablueheart.com/premier-leagu ... cumulationAccording to the Premier League rules:
An accumulation of 5 yellow cards results in a one match suspension.
An accumulation of 10 yellow cards results in a two match suspension.
An accumulation of 15 yellow cards results in a three match suspension.
If a player reaches a total of 20 yellow cards for the season he/she is required to attend a special hearing at the FA to discuss their on-field behaviour.
However, there is a concept of cut-off dates for yellow cards.
The five yellow card count is “reset” on 31st December. It means a player receiving their fifth yellow card of the season on January 1 or later will not receive a ban.
The ten yellow card count is “reset” on second Sunday in April. It means a player receiving their eleventh yellow card of the season after the second Sunday of April will not receive any ban.

Just to be pedantic and in the pursuit of authentic accuracy, shouldn't the title of this thread actually be 'Woy's Wawwiyus' ??

Trust me what I read said no yellow card ban for a 5th yellow after 20 league games.

Surely that is nonsensical as there is no ban for eleven (or one) yellow. Shouldn't it be:

Rather confusingly the FA web site gives both 31st Dec (inclusive) and 19 games as cut off points yet still lists all the players with 4 bookings as being 1 caution away from a ban despite saying :
For example, a Premier League player earning their fifth caution of the season on or after the 20th League Match would not earn any ban. However, if they received ten cautions by the 32nd League Match, a ban would apply.
