Move on people. Today is done. In two days an angry City will smash Watford 5 or 6

There’ll be quite a few absentees so it’s not straightforward.

hope to see Kompany/Stones, Delph, and Silva back.
Sane is suspended (pretty sure) and Kevin and Jesus are out.
guess it'll be the same attacking players as today with Aguero from the start and Sterling in for Sane. not sure who will replace Kevin in midfield if Silva doesnt return. Yaya? or does Diaz get time with Bernardo moving centrally?

Asked in the game thread about Foden and understood he is injured.
But for how long? I think he could have his chance now.

Did Fern also get booked at the end when they got the pen if so he’s also out. We are all of a sudden looking threadbare in midfield.

Now reading that 1 match bans for 5 yellows are up to game 19 so Sane and Fern should be ok for Tuesday.

Yes, Fern also has 5 bookings but neither he nor Sane is suspended. It was reset after 19 games. It's usually the end of Dec but 2 extra league games have been played this Dec because of the World Cup. I do think we still have problems though with Delph, Komps, Silva, Jesus and KDB either out or serious doubts

I hope Delph will be fit to start on Tuesday. He trained normally on Thursday. Stones could start too. Jesus definitely out. KdB probably out although he walked unaided to the coach. Should be ok for the Liverpool match. I still hope Merlin flies in to play but probably not. Can Fernandinho be asked to play yet another match? If not I assume Gundogan Bernardo and Yaya will be the midfield three. We need a lot more from Sane Aguero and Sterling than we got today. Diaz on the bench? Defence was good today by the way, especially Walker who was man of the match in my view.

Shame. Sanè could do with a seat on the bench after that awful performance.

First two games of the first half of the season: close victory and draw, followed by 17 wins. First two games of second half of season, close win followed by draw....

Delph could fill in for Fernandinho. Or Danilo.

Given our injuries/absence this will be really tough.
Ed
Walker Stones Otter Danilo
Yaya Fern
Sterling Bernard Sane
Aguero
I don't think there is much choice. If Delph were fit he could go LB with Danilo in central mid. Silva is not expected back.

Watford are fucking shit at the moment. Not being funny but we shouldnt have any worries against these. We are top of the league by miles for a reason.

I think we are in for a difficult 3 or 4 weeks . We are now faced with serious problems upfront with Jesus out injured and Aguero seriously misfiring , KDB and David Silva could be missing hopefully be it for only a couple of games plus huge problems in defence with Kompany , Stones and Delph out . I am still fuming after yesterdays events at Selhurst Park but we do have to move on . We could be in for some serious tests of our resolve in the next few games strap yourselves in everyone !
