If Kun was making his debut as a teenager, I'd say well done. But he should be playing miles better than what he's done today. Sloppy, unfocused, and bad decision making abound

Considering the schedule of games that was an excellent performance. When kev and fern went off we lost a lot but that's to be expected.

Now rest plenty for the cup and smash the klopps clowns.

Three points. Three goals. Dave and Kev back. Plenty to be cheerful about. Three wins and a draw from the festive schedule is very decent

Job done.
Game was over after 15 minutes tbh.
We were sloppy, but to be fair conditions were atrocious. We take for granted the control and weight of pass of our players but it must have been really difficult in that rain.
And yet we played great at times. We seemed to take them apart at will, but just couldn’t find the killer finish.

That’s as strong a team as we can put out but I thought it showed how little they’ve played as a unit lately or recently.

They were getting in each other’s way a lot of the time with a lack of communication or understanding maybe.

Keep these guys fit and I’m not worried.
They’ll get their sharpness back over the next few games, then hopefully go to Anfield and rip them a new one. Burst their bubble.......again.

OK. I'm convinced. Aguero is a luxury passenger. A very different (non)team celebration for his goal.

Totally dominant in this game…………….. :D :D

Then the substitutions…. ;) ;) Danilo for Stones no problem, Bernado Silva for KDB pushing our luck a little bit,3-0 up though,so I get it, see the game out., ,YaYa for Fenandinho was really taking the piss. It’s like replacing a Ferrari with a Fiat 500 in the middle of the team. Only then did they ever look like getting at us. He is well past his Sell By Date, everything he does is wrong, he is far too slow, always passing back, jogging at a snails pace. On their goal he was pointing at our defenders when he arrived in the box 5 minutes later. He nearly gave them a second with his shit pass. Really would like to see us put one of our youngsters in his place, He is done at this level. It shouldn’t even be up for discussion. All I can think of, is Guardiola is trying to get YaYa appearances up so he can get a Premiership medal by playing him.

Worryingly saw Walker holding his groin and limping at the end, If that is a groin strain, it will be 4 weeks out. He will miss the trip to Klanfield.

However Big Dave is the key to the way we open up defences in tight spots. He is the provider of the ball for the assist for the scorer. Absolute magic!

Cobblers.
Not at his best , but he's worked, and refused to hide. He's been getting on the end of those chances , rather than hiding, which some players would do. He deserved his goal and it'll do him good - he'll play his way out of his dry spell.

We looked sleep-deprived at times tonight ; a hot & cold performance. Some great football at times, but some of our passing was careless and at times we were shambolic at the back. Ederson saved us several times but Watford always looked like they had a goal in them, which they deserved.

Might have been an idea to give a couple of kids a run for the last 20.

I agree that Yaya should be nowhere near our team anymore.
Love what he has done over the years for us but he is not up to the game we are playing anymore.
I’d rather see a kid come on at 3-0 up.
It would make more sense.

I did not see the game. Can you elaborate on this please. What are the potential effects of this on the team?

Only a bit of delusion that Aguero is playing well.

I think he has been shit most this season. He should be burying most these chances he is now consistently missing every game. It appears if the Ball is not 3 yards out, then he is likely to miss it completely, or hit it straight at the Keeper. It doesn’t help he really has lost a yard of pace, I think this is the reason why he is starting to lash at the Ball more wildly, he knows he cant go past a player like he used to, so hits it wildly. He looks frustrated with himself.

Personally I think Guardiola will get rid of him at the end of this season. We can still make a few quid on him. Club legend or not, there is no room for sentiment in football at the top level( which we are now). You have to know when to cash in for optimum value, for me that time has arrived. Maybe sell him to Madrid or PSG for £60 million +.

In the meantime we need Sanchez badly. It is alright when we are banging them in for fun from the Flanks/Middle. We need more from up front and we are not getting what we should be getting.

I reckon any half decent striker could bang 20 goals a season in this side right now. Maybe we should take a punt on a half decent Premiership proven striker as well as Sanchez. We have seen what Guardiola can do with a rough Diamond like Delph ;) ;)
