I wonder why the home kit socks are in navy, not City blue ??

Well I suppose they've been navy for plenty of years previously but I prefer the City blue with white trim. Certainly '87 till around '93 we had navy blue socks and I think we had them for 50 years or so at the start of the 20th century.

Seconded.
Sky Blue with white/claret tops.
No Navy blue.

Away colours black/red stripes.

Kappa shirts were class!!

I loved the kappa shirts, liked umbro hated reebok and hate Nike (haven't bought a Nike shirt but did get the 3rd top for Xmas from my son it's ok).
Would love us to fuk Nike off and go to my favs adidas.

le coq sportif were easily the worst kits we’ve had!

Le coq first time round were decent quality. The second time we had them, the shirts were a mess, and all the transfers (sponsor, brand, etc.) totally disintegrated in the wash if you put them on at the wrong temperature.

A simple round neck proper sky blue shirt with white trim would work for me regardless of who the manufacturer is

Obviously a guess at our 20th anniversary. I wonder if we'll do one to commemorate the unlikely (at 90 minutes) win?

Love that we are going back to navy socks. My favourite ever kit was the brother one that David White wore in the 90s. Let’s hope it’s as nice as that.

Each to their own. I hated them. I know it's an iconic shirt but who puts hi vis yellow, black and turquoise together? There'd be an outcry if Nike did it as the shirt pictured is proving. Am not a fan of any shirt bearing citrus colours. The only other one I thought "wtf" with was the Reebok white sleeved effort.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Disagree ; BAD OMEN; we played in the second division in Navy blue socks.
Everything we've won has been in Sky Blue socks. Apart from the 69 cup final which was Black/Red stripes.

How about the ‘99 playoff final? Dark blue or day glow socks?

I honestly can’t remember.

I do agree with your point though. We should wear sky blue as much as possible.

Is that training top Nike’s revenge for us getting rid of them? It is utterly dreadful.

We won the league in 1937 and the FA Cup in 1904 and 1934 wearing navy blue socks so not every trophy has been won wearing sky blue socks.

Still prefer them though.

Home kit for next season to be launched before the Brighton home game apparently. That's very early compared to normal.
