What a season thst was. He looked like the real deal and was part of some memorable moments, including those pants. It's amazing how far he has fallen.
A total mad arse

Just looking at the link “Ireland outshone Robinho”

Robinho was the reason Ireland looked as good as he did!

I dunno mate, I remember thinking the same certainly for a good section of the season anyway. They certainly played well together that's for sure

We never got to see Ireland and Silva working together. A tragedy.

Stephen was a top lad. Took my son and his mate to see the players arrive before the Arsenal game a few years back when we beat them 3 nil. Stephen had a lot of time for the waiting kids. Happily chatting and posing for snaps for a good 15 mins. Always remember that. Daniel Sturridge was the exact opposite. Despite the kids calling him over as he arrived. He just sneered and ignored them. Billy big balls. And dont think he had started a first team game then.

Funny player. Probably one of those that would look pretty good in this team now. But put him in an average team and he's pretty shite. There are a few players like that over the years - transfer them out of a good Scum or Dipper team and they sink without any trace.

Exactly. Mike Marsh was another one.

He was never the same with us PP, after he was exposed to that dose of kryptonite.
