And to send Morata off for gobbing off, even better. About time a ref had the balls and Graham Scott is my fucking hero at the moment.

Thought the ref got them right.
Not obvious on first showing of each incident but I think he’s been vindicated.

Not often you can say that especially when they’re against the home team.

They both need to be playing, they've had enough time off this season.

Norwich, especially Angus, did well and no shame in losing to penalty's.

Willie was one of the worst goalkeepers we’ve had. He was good at pens - similar to Bravo.

I’d rather have Maradona in net than either of them.

Definitely think he could have avoided his leg, but he was definitely clipped.

Yellow might be harsh but probably wasn’t a peon.
Klose needs to be more careful.
Arms all over Morata immediately after.

Despite what the pundits are saying I didn't think it was a pen. There was a slight touch but only after he had started to go to ground. He was looking for a pen and it's just the sort of thing that needs stamping out IMO. Not sure about a booking for it.

These are the things that they're trying to stamp out, waiting for the chance to go down. I still don't understand the stats when they say 'Fouls against' and then 'Fouls won'.

Fucking well done that ref. No way was a hand on shoulder a penalty, and he actually fell afterwards as well. Fucking cheating cunt, get the fuck off!!!

Noticed how Jenas said it wasn't a penalty but then changed his mind a minute later. And that's where the system doesn't work because all the broadcasters will undermine it because they want to court controversy.

The pundits are ex-footballers and don't know the rules of the game, only what they've been told and what they tried to do themselves. With some rules open to interpretation, they will continue to undermine the game.

I thought the ref (and VAR) got all penalty decisions spot on.

Talksport's H & J, 2 more people who don't know the rules, also saying the ref(s) got it wrong. Pathetic.

In all fairness JL, one's a Chelsea fan and the other's a Tottingham fan.

With tainted backgrounds like that, you can't expect them to have either common sense, a knowledge of football...........or even both.

Agreed. Which is why it is so stupid for this VAR thing to be done as a Dark Art that only the high priests involved in looking at the incidents know how the decision was arrived at as that allows the high priests of the media to have their own say on what should have happened. A simple showing of the footage in question to the crowd (and it's a fucking insult that the footage isn't shown to the paying audience isn't it?!) and announcement of the decision and reason for the decision, quoting the relevant rule(s), would do so much to educate everyone. But then football is run by muppets.
