I'm in a similar position although I might squeak in just about
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

Stangely enough sunny and +5 predicted for tuesday and snow on monday, which usually disappears in the cities. Still, the wind whistles through the top section of their stadium because of the way it is built. Down at player level ,you don‘t notice it too much.

given the price for a pint of Stella is pretty high , that should mean about an hour in t‘pub.

It is ‚Fasching‘ at the moment . So wednesday is Ash wednesday and tuesday is Faschingdienstag.

So there is every chance there will be lots to do and into the early hours. So too in Zürich. Although the Baselers don‘t go Fasching crazy until Monday 19th . They are traditionally the last area to go crazy for a few days

crazy by basel standards is having a double espresso. it’s the most boring town on earth. i speak from experience as my parents lived there for 5 years in the early 2000s.

Mmmh ! , not so , if they lived the life of ex-pats, then it will seem boring. Then again, for ex-pats, all cities abroad must be boring.

Basel is a vibrant City, so too Zürich .
