MotM v Dipoers

Postby Beefymcfc » Sun Jan 14, 2018 6:00 pm

Good comeback but I thought we made too many basic mistakes when we had it in our third. Not sure today?

Walker was the only one for me that looked like anything close to being on their game

KDB's the only one who didn't deserve to be on the losing side.

Thought Kev was fighting the fight on his own.
Don’t agree about Walker.
I wouldn’t single out as having a bad game, but nowhere near MOTM in my book.
His speed gets him out of trouble but he’s not a great ball player.

Kevin but there were some very low scores. Sergio and Otamendi were shocking. We don’t need Sanchez?!

kun could do with watching how he didn‘t move his arse whilst Kevin ran his balls off to cover back for him.
Even at the end kun could have got the fourth with a bit of effort. Kun very poor today.

Sergio has been magnificent for us and is a top goalscorer but he simply doesn't bring that much else to the team. Today he looked off the pace and our possession ended far to often when he got involved. Especially so when it's outside the box.

Get him closer and, because the defenders fear giving pens away, he can be more effective but sadly I just feel he doesn't bring enough to the team. Sounds crazy when you think of his goals.

If everyone had played to Kevin's standard today we would have won easily.

I went for Kev , worked his bolX off ,

Poor performances all around. Gundo, Kun and even Fern had shockers. Even Kev, who was probs our MOM wasn't at his best today.

Hope that's a wake up call and that we bounce back.

Walker for me. He ran his ass off today. It made me tired watching. Second choice would be De Bruyne but he lacked end product.
