New England Ladies manager

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

New England Ladies manager

So the 3rd best women's team in the World is going to be managed by Phil Neville, a man with no top level managerial experience, no experience of the women's game and who has had to delete his social media accounts because of tweets that 'were jokingly a bit sexist' according to the media. I can't wait to see this implode for him as a person but what a shame for the squad and women's football.

I'll have you know he was at Valencia for about 3 weeks. Part of the most catastrophic management team in Spanish history

Im still shaking my head at this, I just can't get round it. It's as bad as the Bryan Wilson to Wales job, none of them have any right to be there. Wasn't RatBoy 1 England assistant as well?

Seems that they're just going for ex-Rags to bolster their sponsorship deals, or its a 'Cunts of '92' thing....

I do feel a bit dirty but it needs calling out. The only argument anyone can seem give in favour of his appointment is that he knows what winning is about. Apparently Roy Keane did too.

Shit thread.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."
