Wembley Feb 2018

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Wembley Feb 2018

Postby john@staustell » Wed Jan 24, 2018 8:05 am

As this seems to be developing from the actual match thread i thought I'd try a new one. Who's going? How you gettin there etc?

As I said in the match thread I seem to have booked a week in Fuerteventura flying the day before. It'll either be the radio on my phone at the villa or some chavvy bar in one of the resorts. I'll see how it goes.

GOING!

Flying in on Saturday morning and back on Monday night, so not too fuzzed about the kick-off time from a personal point of view, but I obviously hope they will make it feasible for travelling blues.

I'm going. It depends on kick off time but will probably do Saturday to Monday. I usually stay in Watford but have stayed near Wembley too. Price checking today.

Booked my train ages ago. Based the timing on last year's final of a 4.30 kick off

How are you getting tickets? General sale or with points or a supporter club?

I aim to be there, I normally manage to get a ticket by hook or by crook somehow. I was in club Wembley when the bastard ref gave the game to whingers thugs!

I normally drive 30 minutes to Hillingdon and tube it in. This year I fancy a beer though.......

So premier league official site shows 2 fixtures for Sunday 25th

Arsenal v City KO 14.05 on skysports
Rags v Chelsea KO 14.05 on skysports

If Chelsea get through tonight, both fixtures will be postponed which means KO could be any time. If the Arse get through, we will be a 4.30 KO which means we can get watch the rags get beat before we play.

If they go for an early kick off, my train booking is screwed. I get into Euston at 13.28. it better be a 4.30 kick off. I am hoping for an arsenal win tonight which means it will keep the rags v chavs game on live before we play.

If Chelsea get through tonight I hope their game with the rags is rearranged for 4 days later, the same night we play arsenal. That would take away their extra rest before they play us on the Sunday
