Arsenal v Chelsea | League Cup Semi - 2nd Leg

Postby Beefymcfc » Wed Jan 24, 2018 6:49 pm

Anybody watching tonight? From the first leg I was thinking none of them wanting to win as they wanted to see who they were playing in the final ;-)

Rooting for Arsenal. More likely to beat them in a one off Wembley final. Plus it will be nice to get revenge for the robbery that took place in the semi last year

Me too,but more the fact that we're booked to play them 4 days later. Equal playing field, and all that. Saying that,I always think we can get something out of Arsenal these days (unless the officials step-in) whereas with Chelsea I always think it will be a more difficult game.

I think Courtouis is out as Willy played their league game at weekend, and did well.

Hope he's got strong lungs then.

Actually, is he allowed to play for both teams at the same time? :?

It's not a competition for good defending. Great start.

5 minutes for Arsenal to hold on. I’d rather smash Wenger in than Chelsea.

Both look very average. But game raisers against us so will be a tough one.

Happy with that. Arsenal are probably like to be a softer touch in the final. They’ll have Miki ( not cup tied?) and probably Aubameyang by then but their defence is vulnerable.
