Will we save money if we pay half in euros and half in pounds?

we should just loan an adequate player that will come in for the rest of the season to maybe come off the bench.
heck, Diaz is already here. Bernardo will start for Sane and Diaz (or Foden when he's fit, which is supposedly soon) will get Bernardo's minutes off the bench.
even Gundogan can fill Sane's spot. albeit that'd mean a change of formation and Kevin likely playing out wide more but it's doable.
no need to spend huge money on a guy like Mahrez.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Well try and see what happens. He’s def good enough and has been playing much better this season.
Clearly we won’t go as high as they want so either have an unhappy player or let him go for closer to what we want. They don’t necessarily need a replacement this window. I guess they may feel they can get more money in the summer, but from what club that he will want to play for? Don’t clearly see
Utd or PSG in for him now. Some other big clubs have curbed spending. Maybe I’m missing something.
I’m for this strategy given what’s going on with Sané now and walking away from Alexis gives us wiggle room. We won’t go anywhere near £90m for him. They buggin.

I dont get this or like it. Sane will be back, what then for Mahrez, B Silva (who has waited patiently), Foden,, Diaz etc?
You can’t sign first team starters then fuck them off when someone comes back from injury.
This doesn’t feel right for the squad in the long term.
We are blessed with attacking midfielders.

Just to remind everyone Foden is 17. 17 FFS!! Most of us were getting our first pube then and people are wondering why we’re looking at players for him to learn from?

Very true Mase, but if it’s a case of like for like because Sane is injured, personally I’d prefer to give Diaz a bit of time and manage with what we have.
I just get the impression that Mahrez is a bit of a mard arse if he doesn’t get his way and it’s a lot of money to pay for potential disruption.

It said on the TV that this was the second time this month we had contacted Leicester about Mahrez. He may have been on the summer radar but has been brought forward?

Mahrez has always felt like a one season wonder to me, good player but £60mil is too much, he seem a mardarse at times I don't think we need him anyway

I dont think mahrez is a one season wonder in any way shape or form. I think he is a top quality player.
Dont forget we identified a need for an attack minded midfielder / striker in sanchez and that need doesnt suddenly go away and perhaps only intensifies with sane.
That and this being an opportunity to strenghten further before FFP v2 gets a stranglehold on us may make this the right time to buy.

I hear you but I believe the word was we wanted to sign another winger.
And I read that when Alexis was still coming to us.

Our owners deffo know something is going on with the new FFP and UEFA , things are happening quickly . Our owners pulled out of a £400 million deal to refurb Real Madrid,s bernabeu stadium yesterday and as by chance City,s lawyers were in Madrid the same day at La Liga HQ paying the Laporte cash plus they would have had to deal with the Spanish cunt running La Liga who keeps slagging us off . Mafia goings on big time , our boys taking on UEFA and La Liga by the looks of things and yesterdays events CTID
