Release clauses are not enforceable in this country, they are compulsory in some leagues like Spain's La Liga.

puels thinking he's going to come back with a smile on his face as if to just carry on as though everythings ok but he's going to get the backlash off the fans and the board for not turning up for training it's going to carry on for a while we haven't heard the last of this saga without a doubt

Apparently he was promised he could move to a bigger club 4 times by the owners and every time they have priced him out of that move so yeah I think he would be pissed off with them.

That sounds about right. I'm sure they're fairly rich fuckers and with Mahrez being their crown jewel, they'll have held out for top dollar.
What did they forget though? Oh, the thoughts of the player.

Fair play to Leicester, imo. With the likes of Coutinho going for 150 million, they're well within their right to ask top dollar. It shouldn't only be the big teams that can ask a premium. He's a former player of the year and won the league, which can't be said for coutinho or sanchez

Amazingly enough you can't say that about any of our players either

Coutinho and Sanchez piss all over Mahrez if we’re honest. Not sure why people are comparing the two!
It’s like us saying “yeh we want £50 million for Mangala....why? because VVD went for £75 million”

Some prat on talkspurt thin morning was suggesting it was City's fault that Mahrez is having his strop.
Same idiot said in relation to Deeney's finger gesture that it would be a Bad Thing if players are penalised for doing things in the heat of the moment. Like, er, homicide? "Oh, that's OK officer, it was just done in the heat of the moment."
The biggest danger to our society comes, I believe, from our irresponsible media.

I heard that. If Mshrez ends up with us he will get the boo treatment wherever we go, like Razza. It's all down to the press. Virgil VD refused to go to the press season tour with Southampton and John Aldridge encouraged his strike action, and yet there is no booing for him and no negative press.

Zidane ready to sell Isco apparently, would be a better choice than Mahrez i reckon.

Is it not a winger that we're after?

Would be happy if City acquired Isco, but Zindane will be gone before Isco is.
