Agree 100% mate. I think some of our fans are underrating him, and will change their mind when they see him regularly in our team.

AND...he's a CLINICAL FINISHER.

Just what our attack is missing and so many of us have been crying for.

I am simply buzzing about this signing.

He's played on a team that is nowhere near at his level and where he isn't as great of a fit.

Numbers like these are very much why Pep wanted him:

I take it that's the last three seasons in total, and not that he's beat all those players each season for three years.

a little odd to put Moussa Dembele in that list...

I'd like to see him trained up as the third striker. I think he'd be good at it.

He's also very tall.

Unless they meant Ousamane, in which case it's odd he's the only non-PL player on the list.

Incredbily disappointing performance yet again. Of course it takes time to settle at a new club with new tactics, but hes just looked so poor early this season.

Poor decision making as well as execution.
I’m hoping he gets up to speed but kind of wonder has he the head/intelligence to play our game. Time will tell.
Seems too worried about scoring at the moment.

Rodney Mahrez

It will probably take half a season before he settles, hang fire, for now.

He seems overly-obsessed with scoring. He would be better off concentrating on making a few assists for others, Pep would recognise his contribution.

Not the only one though, Kun's stupid shot at the end instead of a pass to one of two team mates was far worse.

Lets not forget he is our club record signing. That in itself brings extra pressure. Who can blame for wanting to get off the mark? His final ball hasn’t quite been there yet but he hasn’t wasted a chance where a team mate had a tap in, like Agueros shot in the late stages of the game yesterday where Sterling alongside him had a tap in. Pep on the touch line was livid with it and rightly so.

He has been a very good performer in the PL for a couple of seasons now. Let’s not write him off after four games, which as a team we have won three. He has to take time to adjust to new surroundings and team mates and obvious change in tactics

I think it's harsh to judge the geezer at this stage, when Sterling, Merlin, KDB to name a few first arrived, they took a while to settle in and become consistent. Once he's used to his surroundings and role in the team, he'll be more confident and should start to deliver- theoretically speaking.

I accept that and really hope he settles soon.
I just don’t think he warrants a starting place at the moment.

My main issue is he's stopping Foden and Diaz getting game time. And he's playing badly. Foden played in the CS and had a really good, confident game. And that's that. Nothing since. Doesn't convince youngsters that we're worth it.

I'd love to see these two excel but on the other hand why on earth did we fork out £60m for him?

P.s if he scores the winner against the dippers at Klanfield, I wonder if views change

If he scores the winner at Anfield I've always said he's class.

I hear you.

However, Pep is basically never going to play youngsters alot of minutes in meaningful matches. Not when he has established players.
Its just how it works and thats not specific to Pep

If another other manager had Foden and he played as well as he did against Chelsea do you honestly not think they'd give him a try mate? Pep hasn't once since then.

The problem is Pep has spent £60 million on him and chased him for two windows, so he can't be made to look a fool now.
