The match thread is the match thread mase....he has been utter shit in front of goal the last 2 games... missing unfuckingbelievable chances.

Todays missed chances is exactly what PeP has been on about from ages now....disgusting today was...not acceptable.

But its over now...end of.

I agree mate. A match thread is for venting and I do plenty of it.

But the media will circle on Sterling now and with hardly any fit players we definitely need to get behind him.

We've got Sterling to thank for that draw. Couldn't finish a sentence today. Absolutely shocking, back to his England standard.

Agree with all of this.

but if we're also being fair and honest Walker shouldve been all over that Burnley goal and easily cleared it

Don’t think it helps he had Kompany next to him and no one trusts Komps anymore.

agreed. i thinj walker (among others) hates playing with kompany. kompanys decision making is fucking awful. continually passing backwards under zero pressure. when he carries it out he has no fucking clue where to go with it.

Walker remonstrated with him on a few occasions today...something he never ever does with anyone else at the back.

Im so fuckign pissed off today.

Miss of the century from Sterling !!! Kompany was all over the place and lacking confidence all game, a total shadow of himself !!! KDB looked fucked , not surprising really he has clocked some miles up so far this season . We should have been 3 or 4 up so wasteful again and it has cost us the win ..................

Raheem what the fuck ????

Good point.

Think Pep likes Bernardo as an inside forward rather than a straight up winger, which makes sense as he's quick, but he doesn't have blistering pace, and is more about trickery.

This is how having Sane and Jesus out can be a dilemma for us.

Guess all those who were against Sanchez for all of that time can now see why Pep wanted him.

Not really. Even by his own admission he's missing far too many. He may have bagged a few (who wouldn't in this team) but he regularly fucks up in front of goal. Hope he can improve but it doesn't look promising.

Nah. He was poor and has been for a couple of games.
Doesn’t help putting him on the left.

Diaz offered fuck all. In hindsight raheem shouldn't have come off. Peps emotions got the better of him there.

I doubt it.
I’d say Pep knows more about motivation with his players than any of us.
Let’s see what it does to Raheem next time out.
As for Diaz, if he’s not tried how is he going to learn.
If he can show he can cut it on the left then we can put Sterling on the right.
But first he has to get some game time.

We’re down to the bare bones but Pep looks to me like he is still trying to have competition for places.

It is what it is. We’re not always going to grab a late winner to cover up our profligacy in front of goal for the previous 90 minutes.

On to the next game. Forget this one.

Nah, Sanchez was never going to come to us, he's with his boyhood hero's now.

to much fucking about, not scoring when on top, our defending is shit at the moment, walking pace when going forward, running at them and then stop instead of keep running and passing into area. need more people in the area mind so we can pass into the area. stop pissing about around our own area, get the ball away asap.and at least we didn't have any injuries oh fuck having 3 days off, make them train when they get back

Thought the ref had a decent game. Apart from that first drag back which should've been a yellow, he was very good and got the majority right.

I thought Pep decision to take Sterling off was actually the wrong one. Now his confidence will be shot. "Yes he missed a sitter"; still he was the one most likely to score. Aguero reverted to type (did he even have a shot today ?) . Gundogan is like a Duracell Bunny runs around in circles with the Ball, until he loses it, Bernado is Navas in disguise.

Sterling will get all the shit today. We will do well to remember how many points he alone gained for us this season.

Don’t understand why Guardiola didn’t try moving Sterling back on to the other wing. Stick Bernado on the opposite, Bernado creates fuck all 99% of the time.

Injuries catching up with us.

I think we should have strengthened up front. I am convinced we will pay the price for this.

Just the 16 points lead it is. :D

My biggest concern was that we could react after their goal because we had no one on the bench.

4 competitions ongoing and no subs that could come in and change the game.
