Delighted that we came through with a clean sheet for our defence. I would have hoped VAR would have disallowed their big chance early on, that they messed up, (offside).
Bravo's only blip, was the second half clearance where he missed the ball, apart from that, he looked assured and confident. VK was on form and snuffed out some dangerous attacks before they could shoot.
This will be great for everyone's confidence if Ederson gets sent off in the future. Happy days!

Claudio Bravo: “We have to thank Mangala too, and hope he is enjoying this too, because he is part of this.”
Good on him, an absolute gent.

Well I wasn't one who wanted Bravo between the sticks but understood Peps thinking. Glad he was though, he got us there with his outstanding display against wolves and wasn't too shabby on Sunday either. Cheers Claudio, please accept my apologies for doubting you

Gosh Charles!
That's You being very smart and unusually sensible!
Full marks on highlighting yet another feat of Pep's perfection: da man can even treat a tea lady the gentle way she deserves.

Bravo is not a great keeper but he is a good keeper, he shows flashes of what he is capable of mixed in amongst his fumbles. He has absolutely no confidence and is mocked the world over by media, by fans and even on here by the very people who should be behind him.
I think that despite his rocky start he is becoming a good back up for us.

I’d rather have Gunn as backup. He’s not done much wrong at Norwich.

Mase is the exact type of fan I was referring to, I think expecting every player to be a worldy is an unrealistic expectation and if we had a better second keeper he would be looking for first team football elsewhere.
Bravo lacks confidence and people like Mase dont help, I can see why pep bought him and think he is starting to show in flashes but every little error will now be blown out of proportion by the media and morons who cant move on from a poor first six months and a massive lack of self belief.

New levels of snowflake-ness here! Giving an opinion on a forum doesn’t help a players confidence....
I’ve actually not said anything bad about Bravo in this conversation. I just said he hasn’t been excellent.
Looking forward to your reply mate.

I havent either, I dont think he is excellent but he has done enough this season to prove his worth as a no 2 without our own fans helping the media chip away at him.
He deserves our support, I will always give a City player the benefit of the doubt or that chance to redeem before criticising.

Again, where have I not given him my support? By saying I want Gunn to be number two next season?
You actually called me out here mate, not the other way around. Do you admit you were wrong now?
