CITY SCORE - OPPOSITION SCORE - FIRST CITY SCORER - CITY WIN/LOSS (IF APPLICABLE)

NEW RULE for 17-18: You must indicate "City Win" or "City Loss" when listing your score prediction and it is applicable. Order of the score does not matter.

NEW REQUEST [As of 13 December, 2017] TO HELP ME WITH SCORING CORRECTLY AND SWIFTLY AND THUS TO AVOID YOUR PREDICTION BEING POSSIBLY BEING NEGLECTED:

1) Please REFRAIN from listing anyone other than the first goal scorer in the first line of text, or referring to own goals by City as first scorer. If you wish to do so for fun please put this in a new line of text.

2) I'd appreciate it if you would be as clear as possible with your predictions (i.e. avoid being overly clever) using personalized player nick names, writing extended sentences describing game details, someone else's score predictions, etc. (i.e. Writing "Lawro" as I may not check that every week) that may require me to figure it out or look it up.

In cases where a City score prediction is 0, the 1pt Correct First City Scorer will be awarded if correct (meaning: do not list a scorer).

Scores must be posted in the correct thread by kickoff time and cannot be edited afterwards or your prediction will be disqualified.

Predictions only apply to City's Premier League matches.

Any ManCityFans forum member can start to play up until a date TBA later in the season.

Conte seems to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder where City are concerned NB, so I'm surmising he'll have been pondering all week on the best way to get a 'result' out of us.

I reckon it will be old style Italian defensive play with the hope that a quick break will catch us out, so I think it will be tight, hence the 1-0.

If we do win by that score, I'll be happy enough with the three additional points gained. Even if we 'only' draw, it won't be the end of the world and it would be one more point towards the title.

You may well be right MC. Just seen the Chelsea team sheet and their isn't a recognised forward in the starting XI

Well, 1-0 it finished but Chelsea ought to be ashamed. As champions, that was beyond piss poor. They literally came to minimise goal difference

I fear it will be exactly the same when the SCUM come to town, irrespective of the title position at that stage.

Can't see the 'Mediocre One' showing any more ambition than a determination to defend.
