Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

If everybody is fit and we have a must win game, what is the centre half pairing that:
1. The two Pep would play?
2. The two you would play?
3. Why
Me:
1. I have no idea
2. Stones and Laporte
3. Speed, ball playing ability and age profile

Otter and Laporte for me, right and left footed. Prob not first choice right now but will be next season. Laporte just needs to adjust to his new surroundings and way of life.

Same here WW.
Longer term, it ought to be Stones and Laporte but it would be hard on Otamendi, at the moment, if he were dropped down in the pecking order.
I wonder if the possibility of playing three centre backs will re-surface at any time ??

In pretty certain it's on the cards again when Mendy is back.

Can actually see Stones as a DM myself.
Thus the two centre backs for me are Otter and Laporte

I think you've mentioned Stones as a DM before NB and it certainly has some appeal to it, giving the flexibility and multi positional aspect that Pep seems to like.

Me:
1. most on form of the moment - He knows best. Maybe, with a well earned, sympathetic edge for Otter, out of the miracolous improvement he has hard worked under Pep's guidance. I still have that recent coast-to-coast pitch cutting deliver on Sane's foot rumbling on my mind (think one of the two recent Arse ties)
2. Stones (most potential of all, only confidence to fix to steady on.) and Laporte.
3. Speed, ball playing ability and age profile
1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City
You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...
In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

A fit Kompany is an absolute must for me
Otter has earned all our respect but I feel that Laporte is more rounded and still learning the league - so Kompany and Laporte por moi

Otter has been our best defender this season.

Stones and otamendi for me. Would be stones and kompany but it's difficult to rely on Vinny unfortunately.
Stones' class alongside otamendi's tenacity. You look through any successful recent cb pairing, that's always the winning combination. Terry/carvalho, vidic/Ferdinand, Vinny/lescott etc
You have two of the same and you either dally around or you have a red card every game. Intelligence alongside blood and thunder wins everytime for me, and stones/otamendi is our best combination for this for the foreseeable future.

1/ Who knows. I think Pep likes to keep them all guessing, maybe to ward off any complacency. And also he may not knwo his best pairing. But it's crazy how much he changes this partnership.
2/ Vinny and Otamendi for me. But as we all know Vinny is unreliable. Stones Laporte is probably seen as the future but Otamendi is just performing at such a high level.

Either he’s not fully recovered from injury or he’s got zero confidence whatsoever.

100% has to be Vinnie , if fit, and the Otter and I expect Pep's selections will show that for key games.
