Wigan Warriors were in Sydney Australia playing in a mega bucks rugby League tournament 12 days before the City game , infact they only played their first home match the other Friday v Widnes ( I was there) . Pitch at Wigan is always shite during winter its a fucking bog but gets relayed every year in may when we have a bit of natural sun .
