Since we have qualified and played in the champions league I have not really cared much for the competition. I know loads who have similar feelings.
However this season I really want us to win it.

I want us to win and stick the cup on the centre spot to allow every player, club member and fan to walk up to it and piss up it with a high leg, just like a dog.

Then we can stop booing.

I don’t know what it’s going to take, but I suspect the only catharsis for City fans will involve us winning the poxy competition.
Probably having booed all the way to the final.

People don't forget so easily when they are being treated like second class fans, and why should they. Blues have been very upset by the variety of sanctions that UEFA have bestowed and I'm certain they've got other things up their sleeves going forward. I wouldn't at all be surprised if we see some more in the games still to come.

I could careless about this about this competition. But I understand that we need to win it and why we need to win it. The whole thing just stinks though I hate it!

In England football still belongs to the fans, even the Premier league and the FA understand it, in the Champion's League UEFA claim ownership and hire it out to the sponsors. Fuck them and their competition - I will watch competitive matches that City take part in while still despising the organisers.

I don’t understand those fans who don’t care about the Champions League. Winning this competition will be the crowning achievement of everything our owners have been doing for this Club. It’s huge. Can’t wait for the QFs whoever we get.

It's not a case of not caring about it, and I'm sure there's no one on here who doesn't want to see us lift it.
The issue is that it's a bogus competition, created to keep the old guard on top, and keep UEFA in the style to which they're accustomed.
The name "champions league" says it all.
When were Liverpool and Spuds champions?

Serious question.
Do people think that the draw is fixed?

When were the last times Barca, Madrid or Bayern were drawn together before the semis? Serious question.

We have to win it

If we draw one of the old elite you can be certain that the wheels will start turning in the halls of UEFA.
