It truly is though.
I’d gladly wait another week or two to win the league, for a win at Anfield followed by another win the following Tuesday.

Didn’t Pep indicate as much in his interview after the match?

He more or less did. Can't wait for Wednesday to be honest. I crave revenge.

Excellent goals, couldn’t ask for more. 1 scouse monkey off our back

As someone mentioned earlier, KDB getting the plaudits all season, but David Silva is THE best player I’ve ever seen in s blue shirt and Colin Bell was my idol. The magician is on a completely different level to anyone in the league

Without him, we often struggle and he’s make Sane stand out

Thought Bernardo was excellent when he came on. Hope he starts ahead of Raheem at Klanfield

I actually think he's been our best player this season and I don't think he's ever played better for us. Wonderful player.

This is the freshest I have seen Dave at the business end of a season. Going back to Spain and not being kicked to high heaven every week have left him so fit and strong. I think we should look at a repeat next season, especially if Bernardo comes on in that role

Silva getting lots of plaudits in the media this season too. Many pundits highlighting his performances in the Player of the Year discussion, even if the award does seem destined to go to KDB or Salah.

The way he’s playing this season I think he has at least another 2 years at the top with us. Plenty of time to plan the transition with him.
