Very true, he has struggled with personal battles since finishing football and it's probably finally taken its toll on his heart.

November 1977

Manchester City 6 2 Chelsea

Me standing in the Kippax

Butch Wilkins the Chelsea captain stands by the entrance and claps the City players leaving the field

The ONLY time I have ever seen this done

What a gentleman

And now to Anfield.

Who said chivalry is dead?

A gentleman and always enjoyed his observations on footy on TS, I didn’t alway agree with him but I feel very saddened by this news and shall miss his contributions.

I was sat on the wall.

He was a knowledgeable chap on footballing matters and it was always worth hearing what he had to say.
