Calm down.
We won league cup we will take the PL.
We won one derby and lost the other.

Would have gladly accepted all of that in August as being the seasons lot.

We’d have settled for the same as what Pellers won in his first season....? You might have mate but not all of us would.

What's acceptable for a season then. Is two trophies not enough?

For Pep’s pedigree and where we want to be heading - I’d say the league fuckin cup and prem isn’t enough no. We’re not the same liddle City that we were 20 years ago.

If we put up a fight and give our all and lose then fair enough. This week we’ve not done either.

League cup & clinching the title by pummelling the scum at home would’ve been enough. Now it’s all underwhelming.

Woke up at half 2 and it’s now 4am. Absolutely fuming still. Hope Pep and the cowards have had a great sleep.

Livid just about sums it up although embarrassing is another word that springs to mind.

Embarrassing how much better we were to them in the game.
Embarrassing how many great chances/situations we created against them , a team based around a defensive approach
Embarrassing how bad the refereeing was, bringing back the question of whether it's incompetence or cheating
Embarrassing how we allowed them to score 3 goals from 3 attacks

Foy a few years back, that was the one for me.

Genuine question, when was the last pen we had in a game vs them?

Have we ever had one ?

It's wrong in'it mate.

Sadly it is, sterling getting a lot of stick, but Gundog’s header was the most criminal miss. We really should have been 5-0 up at ht!

It comes to mind Bellamy's winner in the Carling Cup semi. But beside that, none.

If Pep had anything about him he’d have made those cowards sit on the pitch and watch the rag fans celebrate afterwards.

I knew I hadn't imagined it. Young's handball that should have been a penalty, when 0-0 I think. Completely omitted by MotD.

Watch: Ashley Young gets away with handball denying Man City a certain goal

That's it. The season is done for me.

City: 20 shots, 6 on target, 2 goals
Utd: 5 shots, 4 on target, 3 goals

These are not unusual stats for our games. Does anyone have data for shot/on target/goals for and against for the whole season? I'd be interested to see how we compare to the rest of the league.

Another stat from yesterday:
City: 17 fouls
Utd: 9 fouls

...thanks to the officials. I know I didn't imagine these: Young all over Sterling and hauls him to the ground - no foul; Sterling doesn't even touch Young - foul. What with the two penalties not given as well, I can only conclude that Young must be slipping Atkinson a length.

It could have been worse. Just imagine their euphoria if we'd managed to avoid defeat at Anfield in January and that yesterday was the first entry in the "L" column. Doesn't bare thinking about. All this bile being spoken about it being a marker for next year is making me laugh. That first half is as comfortable as we've seen this season and complacency set in, thinking the second half was also gonna be a stroll. That's the main reason why we lost. Nothing to do with our opposition.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Otamendi's defending in the last couple of games has not been too clever. He has had a good season but been poor recently.

I actually cant stand this cunt...I dont want him gone but this cunt is the worst 'out of touch with the fans' cunt we have ever, ever had !!!!

Mancini should school the prick on what a manager/ fan relationship is a;; about

PRICK.

And whilst Im having a rant about Baldie , here's another gripe of mine. Why the FUCK did he go straight to that freak (at the final whistle) with the stupid hair cut and engage in a lengthy chat with the cunt ?? hes got previous from doing this and its absolute BOLLOCKS he keeps doing it !!!
Here's a thought Baldie, FOCUS on all things City and only City you absolute prick !!!!

Completely agree with this. He was very good this season but since Argentina shipped 6 in Spain he has been poor. His lack of effort to challenge for the second was unrecognisable from the player of most of this season. He has returned to lunging in and being on his arse like last season. Blip has come at the worst time but I’m at a loss why he and Kompany were switched sides at Everton and midweek and back again today. Stones has disappeared and Laporte not featured much. Big decisions to be made on centre backs this summer guessing if Kompany stays fit till end of season he won’t be replaced, Laporte only here a matter of weeks but are we going into season with these 4 or will there be another addition ?
