Mullock's a Blue mate.

Really? I could have sworn he was a mune. I'll happily stand corrected though if anyone can provide any evidence of this.

i agree with those above who said his career is at a tipping point. he needs pep much more than pep needs him. with mahrez here and bernardo flourishing, sterling could talk himself out of a job pretty easily atm...

Really, really hope he stays. But then again, if he want more money over playing for the best coach in the world at developing talent, probably best to let him go.

Lovely player, but I'm a big fan of our new attitude "if you don't want to be here we'll find someone who does". Cut out the bullshit and just focus on the game.

Sergio has been bangin in goals for donkeys years for us and Dave has been arguably the best midfielder in England for Donkeys years.KDB is world class and there is no argument to say otherwise - All those players deserve to be on the best salary scale available.

Sterling had ONE very good year for us...so no , he doesn't deserve to be on the same wage scale yet...no fuckign way.

KDB has had one top season mate.

No way mate, he's been class for us since we got him , it's just that last season he was fuckign ridiculously good.

Doesnt matter if hes not as good as the others, he has got himself into a position of power where he can ask for that kind of money and it would make financial sense for us to give it to him.

I dont like this talk of if he leaves his career will nose dive, thats what the dippers said when he left them, prefer not to sound like them. He could eaisly go to madrid and do a job there and win the champs league imo.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We'd have still won the league without KDB. Not sure why everyone's sucking him off.

Raheem can be replaced KDB is the best in the world. The sooner Sterling sorts this out the better for him, City want it, however it is over to him and his agent. Not hard to see how it end if he keeps up the silence in hope of the same as others.

I think the burden of proof is on you for this one, and while you're at it also why Kevin hasn't had more than one top season.

No offence.

Shades of Milner here. But Milner was at the end of his career looking for a golden goodbye.
If he doesn't want to commit long term and threatens to deprive the club of a decent fee if we don't give him ridiculous wages - don't pick him and sell as soon as possible. Bad precedents will be set if we play him while he runs his contract down.

You get rid of one pain in the arse, Yaya, and up pops another and his agent, I hope he sees sense and gets it done, no room at City for slapped arses.

If I were Sterling, I'd think seriously about going abroad to get away from the press pogrom.

Bu I suspect that it is the agent here rather than the player, if indeed there is any substance to what has been printed. I also think he will sign, and soon.

Raheem Sterling criticism is partly down to racism, says Ian Wright
"They are picking on him because of the background he has come from and they want to keep him down, drag him back down."

Raheem Sterling received criticism for getting a tattoo of a rifle on his leg

Manchester City and England forward Raheem Sterling receives criticism motivated by racism, says Ian Wright.
Sterling celebrated his goal against Arsenal on Sunday with a gesture he later revealed was aimed at silencing his critics following his lack of goals for England at the World Cup. The 23-year-old also faced negative media attention prior to the tournament for getting a tattoo of a rifle on his leg.

"How many people do you see get the criticism Sterling gets?" Wright said.

"The football criticism is something every player has to deal with, but what he gets I don't see any other footballer getting," Wright added on BBC Radio 5 live.

"They don't get that stick because for whatever reason they don't rub up the people in the corridors of power the wrong way. I think there is an agenda against him.

"There is an element of people at the high end of the media who want to keep that guy down. Simple.

"When you look at the wave of criticism that he takes, there is a certain amount of racism towards it - what else can it be?

Sterling said his goal celebration against Arsenal was about silencing critics
"They are picking on him because of the background he has come from and they want to keep him down, drag him back down. They don't want him to continue to be a success.
"People say you are playing the racism card, but you give me a good reason why Raheem Sterling gets the stick he gets for just being a footballer."
Sterling: Criticism is unbelievable
Writing in The Player's Tribune in July, Sterling said some sections of the media "want to steal your joy".
He said: "There's a perception in certain parts of the media that I love 'bling.' I love diamonds. I love to show off. I really don't understand where that comes from.
"Especially when I bought my mum a house, it was unbelievable what some people were writing. I think it's really sad that people do that. They hate what they don't even know.

I don't get that, I'm not the most tech savvy guy but if my phone rings in the car, the car asks me if I want to take the call, then I chat via the system, not my phone. My car's nothing what a footballer would have so why the need to even pick it up?
