Who should go, who should come?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Who should go, who should come?

Postby PeterParker » Tue Apr 17, 2018 6:23 pm

So, two trophies in a year, a fantastic season all in all for us, but what is next for us? Usually, in the last period of EPL, only Chelsea, if I am not mistaken, managed to retain the title, so it will be 100% times harder than this year, with more bent decisions coming our way.

Who do you feel must go this summer and who do we need to make us better?

Bravo
Mangala
Zinchenko - would loan him out to team lower down the Prem/newly promoted team.

Need to bring a centre mid in as Yaya will be off, Fern isn’t getting any younger, and Gundo is injured every other day.

i think that there will be one or two departures that won't go down well with the fans but that will signal the club's intent to sweep all before us...

With the Sergio news I’d get two top strikers in the summer. We’ll need them.

I don't think it will be 100% harder next year. We've won the title with five games to spare. I'm not saying it won't be a challenge but we're 8/13 at the bookies and I think even that is generous.

The challenge will comes from the dippers IMHO, but they're not within 20% of where we are and I doubt they'll keep Salah.

Agreed. If we can get £300 million for him I’d let him go.

It's a strange one this whole salah thing, one season wonder? His previous two seasons he got about 15 goals iirc (& less than that seasons before) If he's the real deal I reckon they'll cash in on him if RM come knocking (dippers won't win chumps league).

Some how dippers do know how to cash in....

Don't get me wrong he's scored some remarkable goals, which makes you wonder how the hell he did, as some of them he had no right to (or anyone).

Also getting Messi and Tranny on a free whilst their previous clubs pay their wages.

Messi for his football, Tranny so we can boo the cunt every game. Can't let the Edgehill type fans down, can we ;-)

I heard a while back the Madrid would be after Sterling for £90+ million in the summer. Now that'd be an interesting proposition, especially if it's true that the player would be keen on the move.

Bravo
Zinc on Loan
Yaya (Sadly as we all know his legs have gone, hope we can keep him in another role)
Gundo (ok against lesser teams but to slow and went missing in most big matches)
Stirling if that huge offers comes in. (Frustrates us with those glaring misses, but tbf he scored some very important goals)

Timo Werner? Young, strong and technical. We need a target man, someone handy in games such as against dippers were we struggled via route 1?
