Interesting too see what happens there's after he leaves. Massive job to do sorting that lot out. Who is in the frame?

Absolutely no decent managers around for them to get. They’ve missed out on loads sticking with that nonce.

Ancelotti is currently unemployed.
Arsenal could be a threat again if they get this appointment right.

I think he did some amazing job at some point. Never understood why he was so anti us, looking how Taggart and his club fucked him so many times, and Maureen too.
I think all went to shit when they left Highbury.
Good he is leaving, but he was something back in the day.

Based on their current squad? Or potential players they’ll bring in?
Because Arsenal haven’t been a threat to winning the league since.....I genuinely can’t remember.

Bad news, this shower might be a threat in a couple of years because of this decision. We need to petition the fucker and persuade him to stay.

Never really liked him, his bullshit of never seeing anything when it was contentious against his players but he saw everything if it was the opposition in the wrong. His constant whining about city got on my nerves.
Problem is, they might get someone decent now. What it the 4th place trophy going to be called next season?

Bit of a where were you when Elvis died moment he's been there that long
Let's hope they fuck up with replacement, I'm fairly convinced that Kroenke and co want continue milking the cash cow. Nobody decent will want to go to a club that has become synonymous with cashing in, sure they've bought the odd player supposedly of worth, but nowhere near as many as they've sold recently.
I notice Bergkamp is one of those with odds..... The board appoint a club legend to appease the fans (he left Ajax deputy manager in December), cheaper than Whinger or any decent manager mug enough to go there.......
Oh and don't worry on the no flying thing, the owners have no ambition in Europe anyway
But I think the Bergkamp would be an "if carlsberg fucked gooner fans" scenario
Oh as a side, I told the gooner in the office that Pardew was odds on favourite to replace him, I've not seen a smile drop off someone's face so quick

Grew to dislike him for the way he spoke of us, but respected him for his contribution to the sport. He was a top manager and a great talent identifier /developer for some time until he sadly lost the plot.
Meanwhile, I've read that he's apparently suggested Vieira as his replacement but the Arsenal board is split down the middle about it. Was hard to see how Vieira was going to wait for Pep to leave before he gets a chance somewhere. Don't think Arsenal are going to want to take such a big chance so soon and go for a more established name if you ask me.

I would imagine Arteta rather than Vieira who
would be one of the favourites to replace pep when he goes. All that time working by his side will have a big impact on how to continue his work.
Not a big fan of Vieiras management so if he gets the arsenal gig, it's a yes from me.

they must be considering sarri, in addition to the others mentioned. i also think they will spend big this summer. dont see them as a threat for the title, however.

My money is on him being invited to leave due to his service to the club. Allowing him to leave with dignity and all that.

I wonder whether Primorac will have a say in anything? He's often been mentioned as the 'man behind the scenes' at Arsenal, and has had a lot to do with foreigners settling in, because of his linguistic capabilities. He's 63 now, so he may also be retiring with Wenger, but may stay for a couple of seasons to help the transition, especially if they bring in an ex player who he's on familiar terms with.
