I think you will find you will be wrong in that mate. He'll get plenty of game time that young fella cos Pep has confidence and faith in him

I don't think pep has ever been so openly confidant about a young player?
Open to correction on that.

He's going to get a good amount of game time that's clear.

I get why you're cynical but really think we should be viewing this as a positive, how many kids have we seen spend a year with the first team squad and then sent packing? I can't recall any of the youth players getting this many league appearances in recent years. I think the club and Guardiola know this is something they have to make work, I'm confident they will.

Exactly.
Can't wait for us to buy him back from Wolfsburg.

Obviously this in tongue & cheek but we should really loan him out.

Obviously .

He was and I think the names were Messi and Iniesta.

But in a way it's blindingly obvious. Just as it was- or should have been - blindingly obvious that all those other 'prospects/youngsters/'future of the club' kids over the years were never, ever going to be up to our standard. To me it's a real blind spot when fans scream that mediocre young players should be 'given a chance'. Mass lunacy.

Which is the correct way to pronounce Foden - with a short 'o' like in 'fob' or with a long one as in 'bone'? I've heard both variants used by native English speakers.
