Not sure what to expect tonight as I've just seen that the same German ref's team from our first game with the Dippers have got them again, which s very strange. I'd expect Roma to give them a game due to their very Italian defensive set-up and direct attack, but now I'm not too sure they'll get any decisions whatsoever and I'm expecting a Chelsea v Barca style game from a few years back when Drogba lost it.

The ref's, combined with when UEFA are going to deal with the coach incident, have left me in no doubt that whatever Roma do, they'll be unsuccessful.

Roma are probably the perfect team to exploit the Dippers style and I was wondering, with Roma's Barca win, if UEFA had taken a sort of PL stance, wanting a 'Different' team to win the cup every so many years.

Cynical of me I suppose, but we've seen it all in the CL.

I'll be watching it regardless, just to see how it pans out.

I’ve just paused the TV for a couple of minutes then fast forwarded that utter shite. I can’t listen to that dirge ever. It’s an abomination.

Really can’t begin to watch this game until a minute after kick off so I don’t have to sit through that fucking “Yurl never mourn alone” dirge. Sick to death of listening to Klipperty pleading with scummy scousers not to throw bottles and bricks again at their visitors, stating how the Dippers are known all over the world for the famous atmosphere. Roma look to have found them out; lots of early crosses/shots, giving the dippers plenty of chances to make a mess of it. Similar to what lower level teams do vs them to good success. Smart
