Easily my all time favourite City player. I hope he finishes his City career with a bang, i.e. a typical run from centre line and a cracker of a goal. Adieu Yaya and thanks for your service. You will surely be missed.

There is nothing i would like more than for him to score a goal tonight, but let's be realistic, if he started a run from the halfway line his legs would give way by the time he got to the 18yd box

Lets hope we get a free kick just outside the box and he can work his up and over magic like he's done afew times before...............

Not sure if it's been mentioned before, but Yaya has the best 100% penalty record in Premier League history, scoring all 11 of the spot-kicks he has taken. Next best are Dimitar Berbatov with 8/8 and then Rickie Lambert with 7/7

I doubt the top 6 would want him and the rest wont afford his wages. I can’t help think he wants 2 years to show Pep he still has it.

As much as he's a legend I think he'll prove himself wrong and not Pep, even if he blew the cobwebs off, his legs have definitely gone which was half his game.

FFS even the Brighton fans don't want him (wages aside), that should tell you enough.....

Really really class. More emotional than the prem trophy presentation. Gutted to see yaya leave. Amazing player and proper legend.

Great send off, it looked like it actually sunk in that was his last game at home ever for us a real enormity moment.

Fantastic that he's been given life season ticket in seat next to Zabba. Not sure about the mosaic  but Kolo's and Vinny's words heart felt and very genuine.

He is a legend, no doubt

He didn't score but he did have a run and pass which could have resulted in a Jesus goal. During much of the match he did look a bit like the old Yaya that we love.

I got a bit emotional watching this morning. Props to any of you that stayed behind for it. Seemed a lot still in the ground.
