I hope the hospital that he's in has access to Sky Sport for this afternoon.... wouldn't want the red nosed old goat to miss out on our match, would we?

He's in Salford Royal, formerly known as Hope hospital (much to the amusement of Michael McIntyre).
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

I regret what I put earlier about him. A quick scan of the media suggests they have got it right for once. So much of what has been written chimes perfectly with what my Dad told me about him: Ferociously Competitive; Intensely committed to his Family; Always willing to exchange banter and go the extra mile for people in need etc.

My Dad teased him mercilessly after 1-6 and resulting league win and he accepted it without malice.

I agree with those who say we want him to witness our trophy cabinet getting bigger. It's the perfect reward for his attitude down the years towards our club.

There was a time when I wouldn’t have given a flying fuck about his situation but I do think since he has retired he has mellowed somewhat in recent things he has done so I for one would like to wish him a speedy recovery

Don’t forget the tigers!!!

In all seriousness though, you are bang on regarding the animal world Carl. It is tragic what is happening to the world and what it means for many, many species of the wonderful animal kingdom.

It’s the only thing that really really hits me is when we destroy the animal kingdom - I got involved as much as I could , conservation wise ,in my 10 years in S Africa , , game parks etc that you just want to shout to the masses about doing something to help and to preserve .

I couldn’t give a flying fuck about red nose .

Unless we're going to make banners for all rivals that end up in hospital, I thought the banner was slightly weird. Seemed too "try hard" imo.

I wasn't too impressed with it a the game, but just got home and watched the news and it was featured in a positive light for the club, so worth the guys' effort I think.

Walking back to the station two guys behind me were saying these PL title presentations are boring now (quite seriously), ffs!

Haha characters!! They could always start supporting the rags, they won't see a PL title presentation for a while.
