Played his part in our modern ride but cant dismiss his appeared persona, rag and other player licking and his weaknesses.
Serious q - how much better was joe hart in reaction saves vs shay given and david james (with city).
Arni arason was the shit at reaction saves, albeit for one game

Given as a great shot stopper imo. Similar to Hart, however I could name about 5 or 6 matches where Hart single handedly kept us in the match with his saves. Can't really think of one with Given.
James was a calamity! On the field and off it.

Given was like a wall on his debut v boro. Saved about 4 certain goals

I don't remember mate. I remember seeing Hart after the match and he was fuming at being dropped.

Given was unbelievable that day. I had wanted to continue with Hart, but Given’s display was outstanding.

Remember that game also. He made it to CNN with those saves. Are the highlights available anywhere?
Also that game vs Chelsea when he saved a penner from Lampard and we won.

How they got the money to pay is also a bit questionable I read as well. Some alleging it's an example of 3rd party ownership. (They're getting a loan to pay it, I believe)
