If we going to spend £80m on a midfielder, I would go for Tolisso. He has the potential to become the complete midfielder in my opinion, not sure the rags munchens will sell though.

Midfielder Claudio Gomes next week when he turns 18. Apparently one of the most promising, up and coming young French midfielders, PSG were so desperate to hold on to him, City contemplating promoting him to first team he's that good. We promised him to train with first team, the chance to be coached by Pep helped to beat everyone to his signature.
There is talk of him and Foden promoted to first team for regural football, it depends how they get on tour.

Watford have taken Jack Roswell on trial. Lucky break for him after not making an appearance in over a year for Sunderland.

Wouldnt be surprised if our business is done (excluding random youth signings). The season is so close.

Should be on trial for impersonating a footballer.

100 mill for 40 goals a season Ronaldo looks cheap when you look at the 30/40/50/60 mill for defensive MF players. Juve will have that back in shirts before a ball is kicked.

They did. Well, half.
Said that they received about 50. mil from just the first days for selling their shirts. Now, what I find absurds is the 30.mil salary per year.

This claim that clubs recoup transfer fees in shirt sales is a myth. Clubs sign multi year deals with manufacturers so that the manufacturer can use the club's branding, x amount over x years. The manufacturer then generally pays the club an extra 10-15% of the revenue they generate from shirt sales.

Plus the big players also get a cut these days with negotiated image rights.

alisson to liverpool looking more and more like a done deal
what was it that klopp said about buying success....??
'Other clubs can go out and spend more money and collect top players.
'I want to do it differently. I would even do it differently if I could spend that money.’
