This would be due to the fee Bayern will expect, how he was mostly invisible at the WC and has had his abilities questioned after his CL performance against Juve, because otherwise I thought he was sure to leave.
screw the WC. Lewandowski is a top 3 striker. yes he's only been in the Bundesliga but id take him in a heartbeat, provided the fee is right.
I hear you, but his performance didn't help him with any exit strategy.
He allegedly "burned bridges" at Bayern with all of his public comments about spending, etc. When you do that there you can see what happens (read: Pep). I think he would have liked to go elsewhere, but his options are really limited now that his value is the lowest I think it's been since he became a star, and he's 29.
Maybe Juve would have signed him had Ronaldo not been available, and otherwise I'd say Utd are most obvious, but they are spending elsewhere to improve their squad this summer, and Lukaku doing well at the WC as well, so interest has dwindled.
