If he won't sign a contract there's not a lot we can do.

Mase we capped his offer and spent a ton more in duds just saying.

I argued this in January after I thought about this watching him in a few games and then it came out that Pep reportedly was interested.

The suggestion was not exactly what you'd call well received by some of us here then :)

He has the attributes Pep would like. We're still supposedly interested in De Ligt though, I gather.

Can see us trying for Maguire still, but the fee Leicester will ask for is bound to be ridiculous and that's just because he's English.

I can't see them selling this summer so that would more likely be next summer.

Utd, however might be be desperate enough to make a big offer this summer, but they also want to improve their midfield beyond signing Fred and that might include a massive fee for Milinkovic-Savic, as well spending to improve their fullback situation.

Also seems Lewandowski is staying at Bayern.

I suspect the reason is that interest in his services are just not high enough.

This would be due to the fee Bayern will expect, how he was mostly invisible at the WC and has had his abilities questioned after his CL performance against Juve, because otherwise I thought he was sure to leave.

screw the WC. Lewandowski is a top 3 striker. yes he's only been in the Bundesliga but id take him in a heartbeat, provided the fee is right.

I think he is a cunt.
Read a while, maybe you can confirm, when he was at Dortmund he got married and he did not invite any club collegues, including Blackzykovsky and Piszcek, both polish fellas.
If true, don't want him around our dressing room.

I hear you, but his performance didn't help him with any exit strategy.

He allegedly "burned bridges" at Bayern with all of his public comments about spending, etc. When you do that there you can see what happens (read: Pep). I think he would have liked to go elsewhere, but his options are really limited now that his value is the lowest I think it's been since he became a star, and he's 29.

Maybe Juve would have signed him had Ronaldo not been available, and otherwise I'd say Utd are most obvious, but they are spending elsewhere to improve their squad this summer, and Lukaku doing well at the WC as well, so interest has dwindled.

Hah...Just received an "confirmed" notification in an app I use to monitor our moves.

Really good move for him and good deal by Tixki.

Wish him well, and I understand we have a buyback clause, yet hard to see him return if he comes that good, given Ed's presence. Would appear to be more about getting more money (i.e. Mooy).

Don't know if anyone cares, but the turkish media say Yaya is a done deal at Galatasaray.

Also Denayer looks like he signed a full contract with the same turkish side, no more loans. No idea if there is any fee involved between us and them.

Was Denayer here for first training? I think I read that. Also there was some gap between the 8M we wanted and the 2M Galatasaray wanted to pay! Hopefully resolved.
