I don't think they are clear favourites.
If we sort out defence and stick to a consistent back 4 we should be fine. We need Bernie to rediscover his form, Foden and Rodri to step up, Torres will be devastating if he settles in well. I have a feeling Ake might do better than we're expecting

If Bern steps up he will have a very very important role this season

i agree , i'm expecting an improvement in Bern this season he was relatively quiet last time around.

Hopefully this deal will widen the divisions in the Spurs camp and be a disaster. He will be on mega money and the likes of Kane and Son could easily get annoyed at this if Bale doesn’t deliver

of course Bale won't deliver , he is too old , plays so infrequently and would rather be dossing around on a golf course . Spuds players will soon get pissed off

I am amazed why aren't we trying to sign Suarez or Cavani.

I don’t know why he’s not got his dad as his agent at this point. It would be the easiest gig ever.

Either would be wise. Although I despise Suarez.
Balls out for Haaland now. More important than a centre half

How do you know he's acting like a baby?

I think this assessment is hyperbole.

Txiki is one of the most well respected DOF in the world. I hardly suspect he's acting like a "baby" as much as part of a strategy. You may not like it but he is a professional with a lot of experience and success.

This is also about sending a message to other clubs. You want our money and a smooth process? You need to treat us with respect.

Look at how United struggle to get this now because they just threw money around for years. We are struggling to get out of that perception from the early takeover years but we have to stand firm or it will never change. We will buy many players in a window but we aren't going to spend so over the odds of our assessment.

It's a tricky decision but let's see how it all plays out. The window is not closedand the season is long. We did't get Laporte until the winter window.

Keeping an unhappy player can affect them and I would not be surprised if we don't even sign him this window.

Also, he has his flaws and he's 29. He's not great in the air, and he's no VVD. He's got pace and strength. I know he has a contract until 2023, so that is partially why.

I suspect it will get done and Napoli I'd bet need the money as much as we need the player.

Rumours he has a 60m release clause next summer.

Not sure we would be his choice, although came close to joining United so why not?

Problem is players like this mostly want RM and Barca if they can no matter how much the PL's attractiveness has grown.

If only global warming would speed itself up then the tables could turn lol

There’s a fair few pics of him in City kits and at Cup Finals supporting us.

He was nowhere near to signing for the rags. That’s a given

Much as I loathe Suarez, he would be good for us for a season as a stopgap. I’d take him in a flash

I've read observers of La Liga say Kounde is a better choice than Koulibaly and has potential!

Garcia replacement lol
